Arabelle at The Hotel Plaza Athenee features modern American cuisine in a contemporary, elegant setting. A gorgeous room with a gold-domed ceiling is the backdrop for our innovative menu. A la carte and prix fixe menus options are available. Highly rated in Zagat 2012.Bar Seine is as romantic as they come.

Celebrating its 108th Year, Barbetta is the oldest restaurant in New York still owned by its founding family. Barbetta is also New York's oldest Italian restaurant and the oldest restaurant in the Theater District. This three-fold distinction has earned it landmark status by the Locali Storici d'Italia. In a glittering interior decorated with 18th century Italian antiques Barbetta serves the cuisine of Piemonte, Italy's northwestern most region. In summer, its exuberantly verdant garden with century-old trees and scented with the blooms of wisteria, oleander, jasmine and gardenia make it a most sought-after site for al fresco dining. <br />

"Fantastic room setting out of the 19th century mansions, with carefully prepared dishes to suit everyone. I ordered the grilled calves liver and onions, the best I have ever had in a restaurant, and my companions did the ribeye steak for two -- again, perfectly cooked with a side order of vegetables and a complimentary salad. Eduardo is the maitre d' with a command of the entire menu; if you do not see anything you want, describe what you'd like and he can arrange it. Doesn't get much better than that!!!"

Café Centro is a bustling midtown brasserie with a stylish look that echoes the glamour of Paris in the 1930's. Guests can watch our chef as he prepares French-inspired cuisine with Mediterranean accents and sear top quality steaks. Pastry chef Ken Larsen's sumptuous desserts are not to be missed. The well priced wine list has received numerous Wine Spectator awards and has been voted "Best Beaujolais Bistro". Regular wine dinners are well attended. It’s impossible to mention great dim sum in San Francisco and not hear about Yank Sing. Founded by Alice Chan in 1958, son Henry started wrapping dumplings at age 9 and moved the business to 49 Stevenson in 1974 where it became an instant financial district favorite. Today, a third generation of Chan’s continues the family tradition, creating nearly 100 items each day to roll out on the trolleys. One of the best things about Yank Sing is the vast array of both traditional and modern dim sum known as the “creative collection.” Try Grandma Alice’s famous chicken and mushroom dumpling dotted with garlic, water chestnut, and cilantro. The classic shu mai are the best in town.

David Burke Fishtail offers a vast array of off-the-boat seafood and other selections prepared simply but inventively, and always with the utmost respect for the integrity of the ingredients. The formal Upper East Side setting provides an elegant backdrop for the dishes to shine. The focus here is on fish – much of it local – and all prepared with a nod to global flavors and techniques.

"The Power Breakfast and Power Lunch at The Regency is part of the old legends of the Upper East Side and when the hotel was recently renovated and the restaurant closed for such a long time, one worried that this mystique would be lost -- but it has not.
