Mihoko’s 21Grams Is a unique restaurant located in the heart of the Flatiron District that brings together the best of cultures and cuisines. The restaurant showcases innovative food, which blends Japanese ingredients with the modern methods of Modern cooking.

Founder and owner Mihoko Kiyokawa, Ph.D. incorporates her diverse background in a stunning environment designed by Bruno Borrione to create a distinct dining experience that aims not only to stimulate the five senses but also the soul.

21 Grams is the first restaurant conceptualized and designed by Mihoko Kiyokawa Ph.D, a classically trained ballerina, costume designer for theatre and Holistic Nutritionist. It is said that 21 Grams is the weight of the spirit or soul. The restaurant reintegrates its cuisine into modern dining, a style first popularized in the 19th century with an innovative menu that takes a modern approach to Japanese cuisine harmonizing modern culinary techniques and sensibility.

Bringing together delicious and authentic American fare with top-notch service in a fun atmosphere, David Burke at Bloomingdale's is satisfying the cravings of the city's most discerning shoppers, visitors and residents. David Burke at Bloomingdale's spans the 59th Street side of the department store and offers a to-stay area on one side and a take-out and eat-in concept on the other, where sandwiches, award-winning burgers, salads and small plates highlight the menus. Après-shopping lunchtime favorites include Tuna Tartare Wontons, Maple Glazed Double Cut Bacon & the Lobster Wedge Salad. The menu also includes inventive fare such as the Duck Confit Banh Mi sandwich along with more traditional sandwich selections, as well as classic sliders and the burger that the New York State Beef Council named best burger in the city - the Juicy Burker. More traditional dinner choices include Surf & Turf and Roasted Duck.

Formerly the renowned chef of Mr. Chow, Chef Philippe Chow brings his culinary expertise & worldly experience from his beginnings in Hong Kong to his eponymous restaurant.

Philippe puts his own spin on traditional Beijing-style cuisine with results that are modern, flavorful and theatrical. All specialty dishes are served family-style, giving all guests the opportunity to experience a taste in every dish ordered. Our philosophy focuses on bringing people together for an experience that they can share with one another – starting with our signature dishes.

"We last ate here several years ago and having seen it survive, we thought we'd try it again. Alas, it has not gotten any better than before. The Hot and Sour soup appetizer was the best part of the meal for me. There were three of us, each ordering different entrees: poached salmon, crispy beef, and Beijing chicken. We knew what to expect when the dishes all arrived and they were each covered in the same colored sweet and sour sauce. The beef and chicken were both quite oily. On the luncheon menu we were being offered coconut and grape sorbet, but in reality what arrived had nothing to do with coconut -- rather, it was more pineapple sorbet. We hate to give a glamorous restaurant in a fine part of town a bad review, but c'est la vie."

Located off of Times Square, Hakkasan New York offers a distinctive experience where modern Cantonese cuisine, world-class mixology and dramatic design converge. The dining experience is intimate and chic, inviting guests to taste the artistry created by Michelin-starred Chef Ho Chee Boon. The culinary journey features dishes inspired by local flavors and influences as well as Hakkasan classics such as stir-fried black pepper rib-eye beef with Merlot and silver cod with champagne and Chinese honey suited for any sophisticated palate. Accompanying the delectable menu are expansive wine and cocktail programs, carefully curated by the talented Hakkasan mixologists.
"1st October was the 65th anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China and Hakkasan organized a special celebratory dinner, beginning with excellent dim sum and Peking Duck pancakes through a variety of main entrees and ending with hot steamed dumplings with chocolate sauce and ginger tea. The meal ended with a gift of chocolate-coated macaroons with gold-dust topping. At US$138 the meal would not have been for everyone, but it was absolutely top quality and well worth the cost. We understand that all of the restaurants Hakkasan has around the world were serving this same menu for a two-week period. It was quite magical."

"A real TREASURE set in the gateway to the Hudson Valley, LE CANARD ENCHAINÉ satisfies your taste buds while you yearn for more. For many years it was known by a dedicated group of followers who would travel 30 to 45 minutes out of their way just to eat here. Now, through Open Table, it is accessible to the world. With the exception of Wednesday (when they are closed for lunch), every weekday presents a plat de jour of one of their famous dishes discounted to $15.95, a full-size portion of freshly prepared entrees. And do not forget about their home-made soups: chicken noodle, beef vegetable, carrot apple, and their award-winning French Onion in its own crock. Then follows their incredible desserts from their own French Kiss bakery."

"I never knew what French Onion Soup should taste like until I visited LE CANARD ENCHAINÉ and now I cannot have it anywhere else. The Master chef Jean-Jacques Carquillat created his dream bistro in the Hudson Valley where he discovered his wife Jennifer, and together they have developed a superb selection of traditional French cuisine, whether it be escargot or sweetbreads, calves liver with onions or roast duck with berry sauce, all is superb and unmatched. But then when you thought it was safe to order your various coffees, the waitress begins reciting the list of home-made desserts, from peach tart to upside down apple pie to pumpkin cheesecake and flour-less chocolate cake. No wonder his homemade soups and fresh desserts are popular."

"Excellent sushi, fantastic sashimi. We ordered the chef's selection of each, the $38 menu choice upgraded to $75 each to include a higher choice of premium selection, and it was more than enough to fulfill two adult appetites. Add to it a $65 bottle of cold saki and it was a fantastic meal. We could not be more delighted."

"As one always expects from visiting the PALM restaurants in many cities around the USA, here is no different in Las Vegas. The management is friendly, the staff sympathetic and the food delicious. Prices are about the same as one finds at other locations and the quality is well-maintained."

"Not to be confused (as we did) with Eli Zabar's E.A.T. on East 81st Street, this restaurant has its own charm and a delicious menu that was far better in reality than what we have come to expect locally. Although described correctly on the menu, the portions of food were hefty and freshly prepared at every stage. We began with glazed chicken livers and salad, then a sushi-grade BLT made with fresh Tuna beautifully seared along the edges, and an order of fried oysters. It was exactly what we wanted and served to perfection. Pure serendipity, as we went there thinking it was E.A.T. and we ended up being fully satisfied at a reasonable price level. Thank you for your excellent kitchen."
