General Assembly Restaurant & Bar is a casually sophisticated market-driven grill located at 360 Park Avenue South, one block east of Madison Square Park by partners Craig Koketsu (Park Avenue, Quality Meats) and Michael Stillman. The 170-seat restaurant features a European-inspired menu utilizing local and seasonal ingredients.

"The menu was boring ( we didn't eat the Restaurant Week menu as we couldn't find anything interesting), and the steaks were both overcooked.
Black and Blue was rare ( at best) and Medium Rare was medium- well cooked.
Got extra dessert when we pointed this ( on their asking) but they weren't so good either
will be sticking to Quality Meats - this has nothing going for it except more space and light."
