Attentive service, fine American cuisine, a Grand Award-winning wine list and unique, historical surroundings set ‘21’ apart. Once a glamorous speakeasy, today '21' is one of the most celebrated restaurants in New York City. In addition to our two restaurants, the Bar Room and 'Upstairs', this four-story townhouse features ten private party rooms ideal for celebrations, meetings and banquets, including the legendary Prohibition-era Wine Cellar.

DRESS CODE: No jeans or sneakers. Jackets are necessary for gentlemen.

"In all the years of dining out I somehow never went to 21! It was our anniversary and it was lovely that everyone in the restaurant knew. The service was excellent and the ambience was - well, it was 21! I didn't think the food was so wonderful - not bad, just not to rave about. Tiny chopped salad was solid, crab cocktail, too. Chicken hash was nice but the special striped bass wasn't very good. The desserts were pretty good and they made a big fuss for our occasion. I am so glad I finally dined here - it's an experience. Cardinal Dolan was sitting next to us...so much for austerity, pope Francis!!!"

"Over the years we have been to Sam's maybe 5 or 6 times. The food is pretty good and it's a nice neighborhood place to go (I'm not really in the neighborhood, but not too far). They are very friendly...not really sure what else to say. The decor makes me feels like I am in a hotel restaurant for some reason. I think the decor could use a little updating - maybe the food, too. I don't have anything bad to say but there is nothing outstanding to report either."

Offering seasonally focused, contemporary American seafood, where only the finest and freshest seafood is highlighted. Guests will be enchanted by the superb selection of raw bar favorites and delicious appetizers which include East & West Coast Oysters, Chilled Lobster, and expertly seasoned Yellowfin Tuna Tartare. Entrée selections are sure to delight, with succulent Alaskan King Crab Legs, elegant Herb Basted Black Bass and the menu wouldn't be complete without the addition of SFG's Surf & Turf - tender filet mignon and buttery steamed lobster.
The sleek interior, with tile floors, shimmering blue lighting, and mirrored accents give the space a modern edge while the Main Dining Room takes cues from a classic steakhouse with dark wood floors, wainscoting, and a roaring marble fireplace. SFG boasts not one but two private dining options for more intimate events. The Sea Fire Grill lends the perfect balance to refined cuisine, chic décor, and impeccable service.
"This was our 2nd time here. Beautiful place, nice service - you feel like you are somewhere special. The food is good but I will say that the special, striped bass was a little dry and tasteless - it was quite thick (seemed like halibut) - I didn't think striped bass was ever that thick! Considering the price I was a little disappointed. Anyway, everything else was very nice with this one exception."

The surreal atmosphere of this awe-inspiring restaurant in the Meatpacking district of Manhattan
combines the serenity of Asia with the flamboyance of 16th century Paris. The menu features fanciful interpretations of Chinese dishes and delights even the most discriminating palates.

"It's a really fun place - especially if you have a group. It's a beautiful restaurant, but request the main room. Although it's a real scene you gotta live it!! We were advised to order family style on a price per person base but we elected to order a la carte and it wound up much less $$. Have fun!"

"This was our second time to Massa and we were not disappointed. It was a Wed. night (after graduation!) and the restaurant was not busy but the food was great and the service was very nice. The first time I went it was quite crowded and the noise level was very high. This time it was very quiet since it wasn't so crowded. The food was really lovely. They are very adept at preparing fish. The dover sole was outstanding as was everything we ate. It is a very pretty restaurant! I think we will become regulars."

"The food is excellent and the atmosphere very pretty. It is a bit loud do if you want an intimate dinner look elsewhere. This was my second time at Avra. Both times the service wasn't great. The waiter didn't seem very interested in serving us. It was a business dinner and good service would have been appreciated and was expected. Maybe both times I was unlucky and got a bad server, who knows."

"We had a birthday lunch at the Manor Inn and the food was very good. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were very attentive throughout our meal. Definitely give Manor Inn a try. The owner is very nice and took really good care of us!"

"I think Francesco finally understands what it takes to make his customers happy and wanting to return again and again -(I don't mean that to be condescending at all). Beautiful space, very good food and very friendly service. He was everywhere and very hands on from greeting to taking orders. We waited quite a long time for the main courses and I guess because of that he sent over 3 very nice desserts on the house. He also sent us away with a bottle of EVOO from his land in Puglia. While you can't do that all the time if you treat people right they will come back and that is a fact. Good job on the new place and I wish them the best of luck in their new venture."
