Celebrating over 16 years as one of Atlanta's favorite restaurants, South City Kitchen Midtown specializes in contemporary Southern cuisine with a sophisticated twist. Combining the energy of Atlanta with the warmth of a Southern home, the restaurant is nestled in an updated, historic bungalow on the city's famous Crescent Avenue. Dine on local specialties such as shrimp and grits, buttermilk fried chicken, she-crab soup, fried green tomatoes and banana pudding while enjoying the view of our exhibition kitchen or the Atlanta skyline on one of the best patios in the city. This truly is dining the way the new South intended. (Please note, the restaurant is not handicap accessible.)

"This highly rated restaurant serves real southern food: fried chicken mashed potatoes & gravy, kale, trout, catfish, etc. I wanted to try it but most of the food is really not healthy though most people like it. I did not care for it. However the worst problem is the noise and, if they seat you upstairs, it is too cold from a/c. I was so cold I asked server to make it warmer but it did not happen. I actually had to get up from my dinner and go downstairs and go outside to warm up. If you go there request downstairs seating or patio seating."

"We always eat at Ecco when in Atlanta. Wonderful charcuterie options, great salads and pizza, good wines and cocktails. Prices are reasonable and food is great. Service is excellent. Free valet parking behind the restaurant."

"We go to Elevage frequently because we love the energetic scene, great food and drinks, super bartenders and wait staff. We always feel welcomed. If you want to have a good time out with quality food, this is the place to go. It can be very noisy at times, especially on rainy nights because everyone from the outside rooftop bar runs to the inside bar. The energy just gets better. If you want a quiet night, go elsewhere. And on rainy nights the covered valet area is a big plus"

"The first time we went to Boca we did not care for it. So we tried it again and it was worse. There were 4 of us and 3 people ordered hamburgers. Two were prepared incorrectly and one was burned. All 3 sent back. I ordered a flatbread (pizza) and the menu said it had goat cheese mornay. I asked the waiter what mornay was. He did not know. He thought a cream sauce. Pizza was dry and no signs of goat cheese. Food was terrible and service bad (except manager did try to make it better). Too many people crammed in a small restaurant. It reminds of me of the tight seating on an airplane. I will not go back. Too many better places."

"This is a very cool place to go for drinks or dinner; the menu is extensive and the food was good. However, the service is not great (understaffed for the amount of diners), the noise level makes it impossible to carry on a conversation, and the inside sliding doors were open to the outside seating letting flies come in. A dead fly fell from the ceiling into my wife's napkin in her lap.It took 10 minutes to get a new napkin. Management is not present (or at least you cannot see who they are). I would try it again because for the Sarasota area, it is a modern neat atmosphere with good food. But if it is not any better the second time, then we will leave it for the tourists that go anywhere regardless of quality."

"We celebrated our anniversary and my birthday. This is a special dinning experience.The small restaurant with dimmed lights, and impeccable food and service is truly unique. There is not a big menu and choices are limited. But it always good. You can also go all vegetables. Wine selection is great. While you will pay more to eat here, the expeience alone is worth the price. This a very romantice place and you do not want to be in a rush as your dinner will be stretched out for you to enjoy the evening. We arrived at 7:15PM and left at 10:00PM. Reservations suggested. (Watch them iron the table cloths when they changeout a table). We eat here 3-4 times a year when visiting Atlanta and have never been disappointed."

"Fabulous restaurant with great service and awesome selection of charcuterie meats and cheeses. The food is similar as to eating on Mediterranean coast of France and Italy. Our waiter did not rush us, explained the menu well, and made sure everything was satisfactory. We visit Atlanta often and this might be our new favorite restaurant. A little hard to find because it is on a side street so use your GPS. Valet parking is behind the restaurant."

"I have eaten here often when visiting Atlanta. It is usually good but this time it was terrible. As part of the Buckhead Restaurant Group, this is the second time within a week I have eaten at one of their restaurants and have been disappointed. We arrived on time for our reservation but had to wait 10 minutes to be seated though there were empty tables. Our waiter was not well trained. My entree was lobster that had 2 bites of meat for $34. When I complained they brought me another one with more meat but boiled, not broiled as I asked. The last time we went there we were also unhappy. We are not going back for a long time. I hope Buckhead Restaurant Group is not falling apart."

"While we have been there before and had great food and service, this time we experienced many problems, primarily associated with the server. Our evening was not going great but I did not say anything until the manager came over and asked how our dinner was. By that time I let loose with my complaints and displeasure. Being as polite and as courteous as she could be, she immediately took action to get us another server and did other gracious things to make the evening be a positive experience. She did not want us leaving upset and went above board to make sure we were pleased and would come back. This is the quality of the employees of the Buckhead Restaurant Group; they have great managers who get the job done!"

"Rosebuds is a neighborhood restaurant that has a nice menu with many choices and is reasonably priced. Staff is friendly and efficient. Good wine selection by the glass. Casual dress and suggest reservations on weekends. Nice bar if you prefer to sit there for dinner. Portions are generous and quality is great."
