Celebrating 30 years of service, Murphy’s is one of Atlanta’s best-loved restaurants. Located in the trendy Virginia Highlands, it is the long-standing hub of neighborhood camaraderie and the choice destination for visitors seeking the epicenter of the district’s shopping and nightlife. Tom Murphy’s acclaimed restaurant brings in the crowds with the perfect combination of upscale comfort food, unpretentious service, a cozy, high-energy setting and excellent value. The interior combines rustic, exposed-brick and French café doors with modern design elements for a light, airy effect by day and a warm, sparkling atmosphere by night. A new renovation adds a sophisticated martini and wine bar and a sleek retail wine shop that showcases an extensive and user-friendly wine collection and hosts weekly wine tasting and seminars.

"This is a wonderful place with multiple cool rooms for dinning. There is an enclosed room called the patio (not really outdoors) and big windows open to the outside. We enjoyed the patio. Menu has many choices for everyone. Nice wines and drinks. Food was good; service a little fast paced, so we kept telling server we were not in a rush. A host kept walking around to tables checking to see if everything was satisfactory. Good complimentary valet parking ( you definitely need to valet because hard to find parking). Restaurant is located in chic area with many shops and places to walk. Will definitely return. Moderately priced."

Our kitchen's formula is product+technique+creativity2. The results are new interpretations of everyday food, expertly engineered into modern cuisine.

edison: food+drink lab fills the gap in the dining scene for the neighborhood joint that serves polished, modern world-class food with an everyday familiarity and comfort. A daily, inventive menu that traverses the chasm between haute cuisine and comfort food, each dish will be a bit familiar, but at once modern.

"We enjoy the variety of food (always changing) and the quality is great. Not a traditonal menu but always something for everyone. Good wine selections by the glass, flask, or bottle. Weekends are crowded and noisy and need reservations. The staff is wonderful and always eager to please if something is not right. Valet parking on side street next to restaurant ($3). We go here almost weekly."

Celebrating over 16 years as one of Atlanta's favorite restaurants, South City Kitchen Midtown specializes in contemporary Southern cuisine with a sophisticated twist. Combining the energy of Atlanta with the warmth of a Southern home, the restaurant is nestled in an updated, historic bungalow on the city's famous Crescent Avenue. Dine on local specialties such as shrimp and grits, buttermilk fried chicken, she-crab soup, fried green tomatoes and banana pudding while enjoying the view of our exhibition kitchen or the Atlanta skyline on one of the best patios in the city. This truly is dining the way the new South intended. (Please note, the restaurant is not handicap accessible.)

"This highly rated restaurant serves real southern food: fried chicken mashed potatoes & gravy, kale, trout, catfish, etc. I wanted to try it but most of the food is really not healthy though most people like it. I did not care for it. However the worst problem is the noise and, if they seat you upstairs, it is too cold from a/c. I was so cold I asked server to make it warmer but it did not happen. I actually had to get up from my dinner and go downstairs and go outside to warm up. If you go there request downstairs seating or patio seating."

"We go to Elevage frequently because we love the energetic scene, great food and drinks, super bartenders and wait staff. We always feel welcomed. If you want to have a good time out with quality food, this is the place to go. It can be very noisy at times, especially on rainy nights because everyone from the outside rooftop bar runs to the inside bar. The energy just gets better. If you want a quiet night, go elsewhere. And on rainy nights the covered valet area is a big plus"

"The first time we went to Boca we did not care for it. So we tried it again and it was worse. There were 4 of us and 3 people ordered hamburgers. Two were prepared incorrectly and one was burned. All 3 sent back. I ordered a flatbread (pizza) and the menu said it had goat cheese mornay. I asked the waiter what mornay was. He did not know. He thought a cream sauce. Pizza was dry and no signs of goat cheese. Food was terrible and service bad (except manager did try to make it better). Too many people crammed in a small restaurant. It reminds of me of the tight seating on an airplane. I will not go back. Too many better places."

“Social Eatery & Bar offers unforgettable Italian-American comfort food in a unique indoor/outdoor setting with an exceptional style that is refined yet casual and invites spontaneity. Old World charm kisses New World sophistication. Eat. Drink. Socialize.”

OUR CONCEPT:

Social Eatery & Bar takes an inventive and original approach to traditional Italian-American comfort food that emphasizes the use of fresh-made and local ingredients.

For generations, Italian food has been amongst the most popular, if not the most popular, food in America. Today, those who dine at fine restaurants of every type continue to enjoy classic cuisine, and still demand creativity from the chef. Yet there is a new dynamic, an almost primal yearning for food that is healthy, fresh, local, delicious and fun.

Social Eatery & Bar hopes to combine our love for classic Italian comfort food with our desire for fresh and local ingredients.

"This is a very cool place to go for drinks or dinner; the menu is extensive and the food was good. However, the service is not great (understaffed for the amount of diners), the noise level makes it impossible to carry on a conversation, and the inside sliding doors were open to the outside seating letting flies come in. A dead fly fell from the ceiling into my wife's napkin in her lap.It took 10 minutes to get a new napkin. Management is not present (or at least you cannot see who they are). I would try it again because for the Sarasota area, it is a modern neat atmosphere with good food. But if it is not any better the second time, then we will leave it for the tourists that go anywhere regardless of quality."

Each evening, award-winning Chef Linton Hopkins and wife Gina welcome diners to savor an ever-changing menu that highlights Georgia's purest, locally grown produce and naturally raised meats. The inspired, New American cuisine is lovingly prepared with a southern accent and served with gracious hospitality. Each detail--from the hearth-baked bread to the pickled peaches to the Charcuterie - is made in-house. Indulge in a bottle from the meticulously selected wine list, or join us at the bar for a hand-crafted libation from our nationally recognized cocktail menu. Restaurant Eugene has been a winner of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence since 2005. Chef Hopkins is a 2012 Best Chef Southeast James Beard Award winner, was named a Food & Wine Magazine Best New Chefs All Star in 2013 and is the most recent addition to Delta's culinary team.

"We celebrated our anniversary and my birthday. This is a special dinning experience. The small restaurant with dimmed lights, and impeccable food and service is truly unique. There is not a big menu and choices are limited. But it always good. You can also go all vegetables. Wine selection is great. While you will pay more to eat here, the expeience alone is worth the price. This a very romantice place and you do not want to be in a rush as your dinner will be stretched out for you to enjoy the evening. We arrived at 7:15PM and left at 10:00PM. Reservations suggested. (Watch them iron the table cloths when they changeout a table). We eat here 3-4 times a year when visiting Atlanta and have never been disappointed."

"Fabulous restaurant with great service and awesome selection of charcuterie meats and cheeses. The food is similar as to eating on Mediterranean coast of France and Italy. Our waiter did not rush us, explained the menu well, and made sure everything was satisfactory. We visit Atlanta often and this might be our new favorite restaurant. A little hard to find because it is on a side street so use your GPS. Valet parking is behind the restaurant."

"I have eaten here often when visiting Atlanta. It is usually good but this time it was terrible. As part of the Buckhead Restaurant Group, this is the second time within a week I have eaten at one of their restaurants and have been disappointed. We arrived on time for our reservation but had to wait 10 minutes to be seated though there were empty tables. Our waiter was not well trained. My entree was lobster that had 2 bites of meat for $34. When I complained they brought me another one with more meat but boiled, not broiled as I asked. The last time we went there we were also unhappy. We are not going back for a long time. I hope Buckhead Restaurant Group is not falling apart."
