Palm Restaurant...The Classic American Steak House is renowned for its USDA prime aged steaks, jumbo Nova Scotia lobsters, Italian dishes, the freshest of seafood, warm smiles, outstanding service and an atmosphere like nowhere else. If you can't find your representative on Capitol Hill, you better check Palm Restaurant in Washington DC. Since 1972, Palm Restaurant has built a loyal guest base made up of the who's who of Washington, including the political elite, the city's socialites, power brokers and media personalities such as Tucker Carlson and Bob Schieffer who can also be seen among the hordes of loyal Palm Restaurant guests. <br />

As sleek as a 1930s ocean liner, yet as relaxed as a dinner on the shore, the Oceanaire provides the perfect setting to enjoy Ultra-Fresh seafood, flown in daily from around the world. Sip a Sidecar in the lounge, sidle up to the oyster bar, or kick back in a horseshoe booth before diving into a sea of Ultra-Fresh fish, including steak-cut Alaskan halibut, seasonal favorites like fresh Copper River salmon or hard-to-find delicacies like true Dover sole or bluefin tuna. Our daily-printed menu will guide you, a wine list as deep as the sea will seduce you, and the world's freshest seafood awaits you at the Oceanaire. See you soon.

"I've been here 4-5 times now, mostly on business, and frankly I've never been wowed. This latest trip was ok, but the light over our booth was out, making it dark and gloomy, when you're really looking for glittering in that dining room. The food was very good, but I still rankle a bit about paying $39 for an 8-ounce piece of rockfish and then being charged extra for Cajun seasoning to be sprinkled on. Bottom line, just too pricey for a good but not great diner."

Jaleo brings alive the spirit and flavors of Spain with a menu reflecting the rich regional diversity of classical and contemporary Spanish cuisine, under the direction of renowned chef José Andrés. Jaleo offers an impressive assortment of tapas, the traditional small dishes of Spain, as well as savory paellas, superb sangrias and a fine selection of Spanish wines and Sherries in a festive, casual atmosphere.

"I hadn't been back to Jaleo in many years, and my recent visit was fine. The bang for the buck isn't what it should be, however. It's really pretty pricey once everything is added up. With a bottle of inexpensive wine, the bill for two was over $200... we got stuck at a terrible table, also, but that happens... someone has to sit near the broom closet I guess.. not a disaster, but a bit expensive, all in all..."
