Salut Bar Américain is the brasserie down the block. Warm and welcoming, with an urbane wit and urban sensibility, it’s an afternoon hangout and an evening refuge. It’s your neighbor with a French accent. The setting evokes a classic Parisian bistro/restaurant. The service is spirited, confident and capably executed. And the cooking captures the freshness and hearty flavor of French cuisine. It’s the vibe inside that sets Salut apart from bowing maitre ‘d’s and sniffing sommeliers. From the welcoming wine list, to the playful décor, to the genial buzz in the dining room, Salut celebrates the French restaurant’s essential qualities while dispensing with the exclusionary ones. It demystifies French food by making it accessible and rewarding while poking fun at the stereotypes that surround it. Salut gives French dining a shot in the arm – while giving the French a gentle kick in the derriere. In this sense, Salut is a dual citizen: Authentically French – but proudly American.

"My wife had the duck; I had the the Lobster/Shrimp/Crayfish special. Both were excellent although I had a bit of a time maneuvering the crayfish. Drinks well prepared...one of the best bars in town for a quality and generous pour. The restaurant can be noisy but on this occasion with an early reservation and many people eating outside, it was just fine. Service was spotless. One of our top ten in the Cities."

"I always enjoy this restaurant although my wife thinks it is a bit noisy. Elegant, all white interior. Expansive view overlooking Loring Park. Food is beautifully prepared and perfectly presented. Halibut was extraordinary. Service is perfect. Everyone is served simultaneously. They don't bother you with unnecessary questions like, "How were the first few bites?" Or, my favorite, when looking at an empty plate: "Are you finished?" My Opentable request to seat us by the windows was honored."

Every day we strive to bring the freshest most thoughtfully grown ingredients to the plate. We demonstrate our respect for nature and those who passionately tend to it through well crafted food that is presented simply. Our menu is written daily and is derived from a wide variety of products that are brought to our door by dozens of small growers. This menu concept allows us to purchase in small quantities, reducing waste and ensuring freshness. Cutting in house gives us the opportunity to use every part of the ethically and sustainably grown animals we choose. We do our best to approach each day and every ingredient with curiosity and wonder rather than expectation. Our skilled and knowledgeable staff will guide you through our ever changing menu as well as offer insight into what we are most proud of today. Let the unknown excite you!

"This restaurant specializes in locally sourced food, even growing their own. They also sponsor a farmer's market featuring many of the vendors they use for their menu items. Ambience is wonderful, quiet, and relaxed. Normally, the food is top quality. In this instance, we were a bit disappointed. With their limited menu, they were out of several items, which made choosing a bit tricky. My partner's pork chop was almost inedible according to her (tough). My bison steak was perhaps the best I've ever had. Wines by the glass were only fair. We'll be back, but we've had much better experiences here."

Campiello blends a cosmopolitan sense of style with award winning regional Italian cooking. The menu offers spit-roasted meats, pizzas, pasta & seafood delivered in an artful, bustling setting. Features an open kitchen & lively bar with specialty martinis. Located just minutes southwest of Minneapolis in Eden Prairie.

"Always great food, wonderful ambience. Outside dining in good weather is amongst the best in the Twin Cities. Service is top notch. We love that they serve everyone at the table simultaneously. Inventive preparations. My wife had the pork special which she loved. Slight markdowns because the service by our waiter was a tad slow and the hanger steak was a bit chewy. Overall, though, one of the best restaurants in any category in the Twin Cities."

Chef/Owner Hector Ruiz welcomes you to Café Ena: A cozy intimate restaurant located in the tangletown neighborhood in south Minneapolis. Chef Ruiz pares his classic French technique and South American palate to present an exciting menu of Latin-Fusion cuisine. Begin your meal with a south american style ceviche, shrimp, fish, scallops and shrimp in a aji sauce. The many entrées include, scallops, halibut, pork tenderloin, Argentinean style steaks finished in a savory chimichurri. The wine list focuses on a wide range of varietals from Central and South America. Weekly Wine Flights are a great opportunity to sample the many styles offered on the list. If wine is not your thing, perhaps you would enjoy one of the many cervesas, always served in a frosty mug with a lime.
