"On a wintery night I met a friend for dinner. At first, walking down to a restaurant felt strange, but the hostess was friendly, took my coat and walked me into the small but warm dining room. The restaurant has a rustic theme (see CEDAR) and light brown paneling and forest paintings give the space a more open feeling than I anticipated. Within a few minutes I was feeling less chilly.
The food was terrific - a different take on more classic, rustic American dishes (elk sausage, boar, trout, etc.). The kitchen was very accommodating - they even whipped up a special dessert since I couldn't eat any desserts on the menu.
They also provide a specialized parking rate of $5 and a fixed price dinner menu. Definitely recommend!"

"For one, the seats were very comfortable, kind of a leathery bucket seat. They want you to stay.
I wish I'd tried the mussels, they smelled delicious, but I went with a poached egg/smoked salmon breakfast. best I ever had.
the bar area looked neat and well appointed, and the beer list was impressive.
the place is a tad pricey though."
