The name Hapa is derived from the Hawaiian term that describes a harmonious blend of Asian and American cultures. Like our name, our food reflects this dynamic combination. The menu is based on traditional Japanese cooking fundamentals which are then amplified, muted, or mixed with influences from many different sytles of cooking until they are something completely new: they're Hapa. We have stretched the boundaries of creativity to develop dishes that defy all the rules while holding true to our roots. We hope you will find our menu innovative, uninhibited, and distinctly fun!

"Hanging at the bar, a cocktail, some wine and a great casual dinner - while I often do so, you don't HAVE to get apps, steak, veggies, potatoes and the whole big and heavy meal at Elway's - what we did worked out great. Plus the bartenders are awesome and provide the best service in the restaurant."

"Rice has a varied menu - wonderful sushi, fresh ingredients, creative rolls - but also it has various other foods sujch as dumplings, calamari, traditional dishes (beef w broccoli, etc.). Great spot - particularly for the suburbs."

"Rolls were very pedestrian - lots of choices but just not that well done. Quality of nigiri and sashimi was very good. Not a bad place but certainly not a destination sushi restaurant."

Located in the Westin Denver Downtown Hotel (formerly the Westin Tabor Center) overlooking the Rocky Mountains, The Denver Palm has proved that its "Mile-High" location has maintained the same quality in food and service that the original Palm set the standard for so many years ago.

"This time it was a business lunch as opposed to an evening feast, so different menu items, iced tea instead of wine and less time. Nevertheless, Palm delivered as it always does. Great lunch choices, extraordinary service, well prepared and executed. Always a winner."
