"Brought a new-bee to Seasons 52. She fell in love with it. Not surprising. Delicious food. Great wine service. Wonderfully paced. My only complaint is that I had to remind them of my table number!"

"I'll be back. The wine list was surprising extensive. The outdoor dining and view of the USNA was unmatched. The food earned a B+; don't order anything with fried green tomatoes, though. You get "fried", you don't get much in the way of tomatoes. Service was beautifully paced!"

"Although open just since August 7, this Seasons 52 has it mastered. Great service; interesting new features on the fall menu. The lack of the 5th star on food was because the duck on the lettuce wraps was a bit dry. Putting the sauce IN the wrap instead of on the side would have helped. That is my only complaint and it isn't much of one at that!"

The Dining Room is located in the old parlour and still features its original crystal chandeliers. The room is now painted a warm persimmon colour and offers comfortable upholstered banquettes and wing back chairs along with the more traditional dining chair. Whether taking afternoon tea and scones or savouring a multi-course meal prepared by Chef de Cuisine Steve Sperling, dining at the Charles Inn Restaurant is always special. Our wine list features the best that Niagara has to offer including a wonderful selection of ice wines to accompany that special dessert. During the warmer months, a candle lit dinner can be enjoyed on the side verandah which overlooks the gardens as well as North America's oldest golf course. After dinner, guests are welcome to enjoy a glass of port or ice wine or perhaps a specialty coffee in the adjoining lounge or sit on the verandah to enjoy the evening sky. The dining room is open seven days a week.

"Wine service was deplorable. So was Mark's attitude. Warm wine put into a 1 inch water bath? We added our ice water to cool off the wine and poured ourselves. Horrible service dominated the evening detracting from decent food. It was quiet because the place is a poor choice!"

"This is a celebratory, top of the line restaurant. You cannot beat the quality of the food, the service or the ambience ANYWHERE in the mid-Atlantic. This is my go-to restaurant for special occasions and I'm NEVER disappointed."

"The folks at the bar serve great drinks at speed for an amazingly low price. The 4th of July dinner was a BUFFET with NO notice on the website. NOT what we expected and the servers were indifferent to the inconvenience. We walked out and went across the street to McGregors."

VOLT offers guests a menu of modern American cuisine. “The focus of our cuisine is based on classic flavor combinations, creating sophisticated dishes that emphasize purity and seasonal flavors that are based on fundamental and innovative cooking techniques.” said Voltaggio. VOLT’s relationship with local artisan farmers ensures availability of products to fulfill the philosophy behind the menu, in a refined, historic venue where classic meets modern. By design, the restaurant follows along the original footprint of the mansions first floor parlors. Both the 38 seat main dining room and the bar/lounge open off the foyer. The original mosaic tile in the foyer was the inspiration behind the warm monochromatic color pallet that adorns the finishes in VOLT. Private dining can be hosted in the conservatory offering views of the expansive courtyard. The 700 square foot kitchen afforded space to include up to 20 guests.

"Service is excellent and so is the food if you like a tapas bar. Food gets a fair because they are charging full price for bite size portions. There is no value for money at Volt. Wine by the glass is ridiculously overpriced and it's a short list. Choose another choice."
