Voted 2014 Best Seafood Restaurant, Best Waterfront Restaurant, Best Patio/Outdoor Dining Spot, Best Place to Impress Out-Of-Town Guests, Best Restaurant To Take Your Parents, and Best Fish Dip in Sun-Sentinel’s "Best Of South Florida" readers poll. Enjoy casual dining and drinks downstairs at Fisheries Dockside, with live music on weekends, while watching the daily feeding of giant tarpon at the docks. Incredibly creative dining upstairs in an historic waterfront setting of early Fort Lauderdale and the restaurant's own marina. Complimentary valet parking and dockage for your boat. You simply will not find better waterway views in South Florida, with hundreds of boats navigating the Intracoastal both day and night.

"If you are a traveler you know that you can only get real stone crab for the most part in Florida, and when it is good it is incredible. It was here. Fresh, right out of the water stone crab worth the price. The clams appetizer was unusually prepared and fine, although not the best clams I have had. Noteworthy are the desserts. The pastries are made in house by the chef. I had the cheesecake which was exceptional. Of course being on the water with views of the intracoastal doesn't hurt the experience..."

A modern vegetable restaurant by Chefs Richard Landau & Kate Jacoby, formerly of Horizons: Located in the historic Tiger Building on Locust Street, Vedge offers classical, elegant dining experiences as well as a sophisticated bar. The menu takes a fresh approach to cooking vegetables, presented in a series of mid-size plates. Think: Smoked Eggplant Braciole, Salt-Roasted Golden Beets, Wood-Grilled Maitake Mushrooms.

"I always come here when in DC. The staff is friendly, the food is consistently good. The tomato soup with the cheese filled waffle was great. and they have some great wines here for a good price."

Stephen Starr brings his signature brand of hospitality and design to the nation’s capital with the opening of Le Diplomate, located at 14th & Q. Serving lunch, brunch and dinner, the stylish 260 seat restaurant transports diners to the beloved cafés of Boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris. The extensive menu features a variety of classic dishes including Onion Soup Gratinee, Steak Frites, and Poulet Roti as well as contemporary bistro fare, with dishes such as Shaved Veal Tongue with Mache and Bavette de Boeuf à l’Echalote. A thoughtfully curated wine list and cocktail program perfectly complements the cuisine and creates an environment suitable for romantic dinners or lively group gatherings. In warmer weather, enjoy dining "en plein air" in the stunning outdoor café where you can take in the bustling energy of DC while sipping on the perfect kir royale.

"food was great and in line with what you would expect from a SS restaurant. i don't love the noise level in these places for my personal taste, much like Parc in Philly it bounces all over. But the food is worth the trip. Had the Pork Milanese with the potatoes gratin. It was amazing but a lot of food. great late night snack for the doggie bag though. The neighborhood is hip and if you are from out of town there are a lot of things to take in surrounding the restaurant."
