BRINE is the newest of Nancy Batista-Caswell’s inventive restaurant concepts. With BRINE, her hometown retains the buzz from two exciting eateries that she’s brought to New England through picturesque Newburyport.<br /><br />BRINE’s sleek, stainless and Carrera marble bar, industrial lighting and ample galvanized furnishings make the fresh fish and butchered meats the stars of the show. Drop by to chose from a daily smorgasbord of Ceviche, Crudo — fresh Bivalves, Tartare, Sashimi, Carpaccio — Cotton, Brandade, and Espumas in addition to select prime cuts and butchered chops. Carpet Baggers, Daily Dock specials and Po’boys will round out a menu of Italian and Spanish influences.<br /><br />Fans of our sister restaurant Ceia will find operational and culinary fluidity between these two hometown Caswell Restaurant Group establishments. Cheers!

"its more then just an oyster bar that's for sure. Its seafood main dishes and steaks are crazy good. beef was so tender and flavorful. the tartar of beef out of this world and their tuna entrée mushroom broth was ridiculous. Best spot north of boston. no doubt."

Our exposed brick interior with mellow lighting, cozy banquets and featured cocktail bar beckon even impromptu visits to this reliable neighborly eatery where singles, dates and a posse of good friends are assured of a comfortable night out with delicious food and great company. The spirit of Ceia (pr. SAY-yah) is in the translation of our name: "supper" in Portuguese, the language of one country included among the inspiring stops of our coastal European culinary repertoire.

"over the years this place is still pretty spectacular. Having learned about the new chef and where he cooked before- I was excited to head back up to Newburyport. His food is crazy delicious.. the lamb (best I have ever ate), a broccoli salad with an egg, a beet filled ravioli with poppy seeds, and a chocolate dessert with butternut ice cream. crazy. Owner is always here and always smiling makes you feel good about supporting someone like that. if your up for it check out brine (sister spot) for oysters before.. we did."

Welcome to The Kirkland Tap & Trotter Our food is simple, hearty and approachable. It is how Chef Maws cooks at home for friends and family. At the center of the kitchen is our hardwood grill where you can find us cooking up any of our options to share as well as other grilled fare. Tony has designed an affordable menu, making it easy to eat here often. Keeping with the theme of The Kirkland Tap & Trotter being an every night of the week establishment, beverage choices will also be representative of things we like to drink. We invite you to drop by after work to try something from our expansive beer list, a straight forward and delicious cocktail or one of our many wines by the glass with our usual preference toward wines with a bit of funk. We’re open for dinner seven days a week.

"really enjoyed the pork belly main course, the shrimp special. space is really open yet intimate. Kitchen is super clean. line guys have some personality so its fun to sit at counter if you can."

"I am so obsessed with Ceia and its sister location Brine. The wine list is priced great with such a large variety. The food is spot on (mind blowing). Service is awesome- Staff is really knowledgeable. The owner is inviting at both spots. Always thankful for the support and so passionate. We watched her run between both spots all night. Her locations have created a dining scene north of Boston that never existed. Have not been GO! Love Ceia .. Love Brine. Thanks for giving us great restaurants."

Oran Mor Bistro is located up a flight of copper stairs in an historic Nantucket home. The restaurant has an intimate bar and three dining rooms with attractive earth-toned decor that are a warm prelude to delicious, beautifully prepared food. The bar radiates warmth of the past with its wide plank flooring, pen and ink bar top and gaff-rigged wine glass racks. Oran Mor features handcrafted cocktails from the freshest ingredients, house infusions and specialty spirits. The wine list predominantly features wines from France, small American producers as well as a travelogue of wines from around the world.<br />Oran Mor Bistro is owned by Chef Chris Freeman and his wife Heather. The evolving and innovative menu is derived from the changing seasons and their bountiful offerings. Showcasing native seafood, fresh local produce and naturally raised meats from select farms.

Ventuno is an island restaurant inspired by the frascas of Italy, small farmhouses which opened themselves up to friends and neighbors with wine and homemade food.<br />Executive Chefs Gabriel Frasca and Amanda Lydon, with Chef De Cuisine Andrea Solimeo, delight in imagining Nantucket shellfish, fish and produce in Italian hands. House-cut pasta and simple takes on the bounty of sea and land are complemented by a carefully curated Italian wine list. <br />Drink and eat our entire menu on either dining room floor or bar, or the open-air back bar, with comfortable service and the inviting breeze of the ocean.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
