THE HEATH serves a classically inspired modern take on American and English cuisine in an elegant railway station. The Heath features live Jazz ensemble seven nights a week for dinner and the MCKITTRICK HOTEL'S house band, HEATHENS on weekend late nights.

"perhaps one of the most unique restaurants in new york, given its connection and tie-ins with Sleep No More. we went on a sunday night when the restaurant was fairly empty, and though there was a calm energy about the place that immediately made you relax, the underlying buzz of excitement and possibility was unmistakeable. the wait staff were charming and attentive, though sometimes seemed a bit slow on their feet. perhaps that's for the pacing of the whole evening; i don't know. food was delicious, with innovative flavors and combinations, and portions were hearty at the very least, which i always find refreshing in a day when fine dining seems to mean barely eating anything."

Cutting edge vegetarian food with added flavor and no politics in this sleek and stylish underground room that’s a showcase for crazy, pop-tastic dishes from award-winning chef, Amanda Cohen. A below-the-radar wine list, raves from Gourmet and Bon Appetit, and vegetables presented in all their earth-shattering, gob-smacking glory.

"the food here is amazing, and the way they choose to work with vegetables is not only innovative, but also unique and inspiring. dirt candy certainly knows how to bring out the flavors of a vegetable and transform it at the same time. our table of 2 both agreed that the potato dish was perhaps one of the best things we've ever eaten. ever. mains were delicious as well (broccoli! as hot dogs!). popcorn pudding was to die for, though i found my celery cheesecake lacking in celery flavor and a bit overpowering in general sweetness. also a bit disappointed that for 2 people, 3 appetizers, 2 mains, and 2 desserts still left us hungry. will certainly know to order more next time."
