Rural Society is a contemporary Argentine steakhouse from nationally renowned master of Latin cuisine Chef Jose Garces. Inspired by his travels to South America, Rural Society is at once rustic and luxurious, bringing the energy and sophistication of Buenos Aires to Washington. Our menu and primarily South American wine list, combined with our warm hospitality and welcoming décor, transport you far from the bustle of the District to the sweeping cattle ranches and grill-fired kitchens of Argentina.

"Great attention to detail in all the foods. Seasonings in individual dishes are complimentary when eaten together. Very attentive, informed waiter and staff.
Will definitely return."

Vast is a fine dining restaurant located on the 49th floor of the Devon Tower that features globally inspired American cuisine. The restaurant is made up of the main dining room, a bar & lounge and private dining rooms that are perfect for hosting larger social events or intimate dining experiences.<br />The name Vast not only denotes the expansive, breathtaking view that captivates you from the moment you step into the restaurant but also by the varied use of ingredients and cooking techniques to showcase our menu. This is complimented pleasantly by a wine and cocktail program uniquely suited for all tastes.

"We entered "Vast" at dusk and were taken to a secluded corner table with a 180 degree view of OKC. Ricky, our server, was an encyclopedia of knowledge about OKC, the restaurant and the menu
The food is familiar but has surprise flavor pairings: beets with pear vinaigrette; ramp with morel and pork"

Experience the flavors of Bangkok and the atmosphere of the old landmark 'Jackson Brewery' in SOMA at Basil Canteen. Enjoy the wide range of Thai snacks, noodles, rice dishes, and house cocktails at our long communal table or at our sleek and cozy mezzanine. Through this taste, sight, and sound, one night in Bangkok has never been this close.

"Basil was bustling at 8:30 Friday night but we were seated promptly, had a great server and all six of us found our choices to be delicious -- so much so that there wasn't sharing!"

Rasika, which is derived from Sanskrit meaning "flavors,” is the award-winning modern Indian restaurant owned by Ashok Bajaj. Leading the kitchen is Group Executive Chef Vikram Sunderam, a 2012 nominee for Best Chef Mid-Atlantic from the James Beard Foundation. Rasika has consistently earned four stars in the coveted Dining Guide of The Washington Post, and is in the top tier of Washingtonian magazine’s annual “100 Best.” Esquire magazine named it among the country’s best new restaurants in 2008 and Food & Wine magazine also stated that Rasika is “One of the hottest restaurants in the world.” Rasika showcases authentic Indian fare prepared on the Tawa (griddle), Sigri (open barbeque), as well as Tandoori and regional dishes. The restaurant is also noted for its international wine list, innovative cocktails and intimate, plush dining room. For private dining, Rasika has an exclusive space that can seat up to 16 guests and a semi-private area for up to 28.

"For first time diners the tasting menu offered a great cross section of the menu. Our favorite dish was the black cod, cooked to perfection.
Even the leftovers we took home were delicious a day later!"
