Inspired by the thali, a tray of many small dishes served all at once to each guest, Poppy's menu highlights the best of local seasonal ingredients, spices, and fresh herbs from its own back garden, and includes many options for vegetarians.

"I love this place. The concept of a "thali", a main dish with multiple side dishes all served at once is a great. The cocktails were good. The food was amazing, I had a great pork dish and my wife had an amazing sea bass. All the side dishes were appropriate and excellent. A few of the side dishes were at worst good but the rest were truly good. What's best was the cost of a single thali set would be what you'd expect to pay for an entree in some restaurants. It was great and I'd go back for seconds or thirds."

"Nice little small plates. Each plate was excellent. However, the service was lacking. They need more servers, on a Friday night our server was running around all over the place and was ignoring us for long stretches of time. While many of our dishes came out on time, our main plates took almost 30minutes to come out. A great food experience tarnished by problems with service."

"A good restaurant with great appetizers and entrees. The kitchen was rather inconsistent the night we were there. It got out appetizers out quickly but took over 30minutes to get our entrees out. Overall a satisfying meal. The desserts were excellent and you need to save space for it."
