Seasonal & Delicious.

With Paul Martin's American Grill, Brian Bennett and restaurateur Paul Fleming have realized a long-nurtured dream to create the restaurant "we've always wished was in our neighborhood."

At the heart of all great food is fresh, local, peak of the season ingredients. Paul Martin's aims to serve diners the best ingredients with meat raised in a humane and wholesome way, locally sourced produce, the best of both wild and farmed fish, artisan cheeses and cured meats from small local purveyors. The deep California-centric wine list twists and turns, by glass or bottle, through the Golden State's vineyards, with an occasional stop for an Oregon Pinot Gris or a Washington dry Riesling. Behind Paul Martin's elegantly rustic bar is an interesting array of craft beer and spirited cocktails with fresh garnishes. Good times and thoughtful food are a way of life at Paul Martin's American Grill.

"A nice dining experience with good decor and service. While the food was good, it was a bit pricey for what you're getting."

Sir and Star at The Olema
Sir and Star at The Olema
Having established Manka's as one of the top 50 hotel restaurants in the country, the owners have moved down the road - to the corner of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Star Route One. They've revitalized Hotel Olema and a new restaurant within it: Sir and Star. Its tables groan with the best of West Marin. Guests are invited to enjoy a nibble and sip or a lingering meal of foods and wines from within reach. It will quickly become apparent that the stewards of this elegant old roadhouse so love where they live and live to celebrate all that grows, swims and is crushed within their midst.

"I've been here twice and the Mexican/latin american selection has been good. Sitting outside has been very nice and the historic building itself it very pretty."

Santana Row welcomes a new dining destination this summer with the launch of Lark Creek® Blue which opened its doors on August 1, 2012. The restaurant features sustainable seafood, extensive oyster selections and a variety of globally-inspired seasonal dishes under the direction of Chef Chad Ferry. Lark Creek Blue is housed in the space formerly held by Yankee Pier, which had its last night of service on Sunday, July 15, 2012. The space has been completely renovated to offer casual, contemporary design with a circular raw bar, open kitchen and ample covered patio seating, perfect for warm summer days and nights.
"For a restaurant of a supposed high standard, getting large amounts of grit in my steamed mussels and a mouthfull of scales with my whole roasted branzino was disappointing. The mussels itself were ok but not outstanding and the branzino was a disappointment. The fish tasted good but the strange choice to put stuffing on top of the fish was not a good idea. The salmon my wife ordered was good if not outstanding. Not a good first impression of this place."
