"4 of us went for the first time to celebrate Mom's 80th bday. What a great choice - a birthday card awaited her, and the wait staff was friendly but not fussy, prompt but not rushed. Started with some signature cocktails for the ladies - a really good mixologist; then some bread and salted butter (worth trying, i usually eschew the bread but...). The sepia was a great starter - tender, good grill flavor; the rack of lamb = 2 chops was perfectly cooked, well sauced, and had yummy veggies. The staff brought a chocolate soufflé with candle for dessert for us to share - molten inside, with a bit of creme anglaise...All around pretty close to perfect. Every table full but not too noisy. Wine list good spread of selections. Must go if in easton"

"you will like Fogo...all sorts of different cuts, most very tasty and tender, served with lightning speed. In fact, a bit fast, but very courteous. The salad bar is immense, with lots of different choices, enough for anyone; don't fill up too much or you will miss out on the meat-fest. I especially liked the lamb chops, and the top sirloin. Desserts are large, calorie dense, but tasty by reputation - i had the papaya cream which was mellow but lacking a bit in real papaya flavor. Wine list is good not great, but does have an interesting selection of malbecs...This is not a cheap restaurant, but when you consider what you get for the price it's a pretty good deal if you come with an appetite"

Inspired by Trastevere, the bustling 13th district of Rome, Rione XIII explores simple Roman cooking on Seattle's Capitol Hill. Menu favorites include fried artichokes, housemade mozzarella, cacio e pepe, and wood-fired Roman street pizza. A full bar is available as well as a thoughtful selection of Italian & Northwest wines.

"Had a wonderful experience at Rione XIII, our first time there. Went with a party of 4, Patrick was our server, and he did an outstanding job - really was helpful on managing portions so we could try lots of different things to share, without getting (too) stuffed too quickly.
We had a nice, reasonably priced Nero d'avola to drink - many of the wines are quite reasonable.
The burrata is phenom, as are the artichokes. Pizzas super good, we split 2 between 4 people, and then had room for pasta thereafter - carbonara was great, as was the mezze. Sorbet was all we could manage for dessert, with a nice miele (honey) grappa.
A really wonderful evening, good ambience, excellent pacing, and a splendid waitstaff. Va bene!"
