This grand Victorian saloon is on two levels, with four distinctive bars, including an oyster bar, and six dining rooms. Open for dinner til late in the evening, it is the perfect spot before or after a Verizon Center event, movie or the theatre, and is open for lunch and dinner daily, as well as Saturday and Sunday brunch.

"Went for lunch with a colleague who needed to vent - and we got a booth at the 1st floor bar. We had the necessary privacy.
Clyde's is always reliable, service was good, food was good. This is just a solid restaurant. Not Amazing, but reliable solid. They had taken the beef enchiladas off of the menu since the last time I had gone, apparently - I wish they hadn't. Nothing last forever, and I had a turkey burger. Clyde's, though, can get expensive, so you really only want to go when you need the space and privacy. Otherwise, there are plenty of Good burger joints around Penn Quarter now."

MoCo's Founding Farmers is the newest iteration of Founding Farmers, one of the most popular restaurants in the U.S. With a fresh, seasonal menu of farmhouse favorites and new American traditional dishes, our menus of true food and drink offer something for everyone, in a modern and eco-friendly urban farmhouse setting.

The restaurant is upscale casual, which welcomes business casual dress, and dress that would be appropriate in a nice restaurant; this includes jeans and athletic wear, and warm-weather clothing, including shorts.

In addition to serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, MoCo's Founding Farmers hosts a unique “Afternoon Social,” providing a modern afternoon break for area entrepreneurs looking for a respite from coffee houses, local mom groups with toddlers in tow and retirees craving a place to socialize and a bite to eat. The Afternoon Social menu features tea sandwiches, scones, tea, cocktails, cookies and other desserts.

"This restaurant markets itself as serving farm fresh food. Honestly, I can't tell if the food is or isn't, but the menu is different from the normal with several unique items (the Popcorn is a must try, as is the Corn bread - and they have a lot of bread options if corn isn't the one for you).
The food is good, and, again, you'll enjoy the reading the menu. The restaurant is lively, almost loud and was crowded when we went. We made reservations, and they couldn't seat us early, because of the rush, even early on a Sunday. I didn't mind, however, because all of the staff really was running around - not one lazy person on the floor! Nice to see.
This is a good place, fun. Not the best food, but not the usual fare either."

"The restaurant is crowded. They have table right up against the walking aisles that patrons use & servers use to buss trays of food. Its too close for comfort. Make sure you get a booth or at least an interior table. If you are sit on the aisle, you'll be disturbed. This restaurant is also quite loud - conversations at dinner are tough.
The food is good, & they have a buy one-get one free deal on select pastas. Order a pasta for dinner, and take a free pasta (among the same select pastas) home for the next day. Nice for pasta lovers.
Service is okay. We went for my wife's birthday & I told both the maitre' D as well as my server about it, and still they forgot to bring a candle. With so many good Italian places, maybe go elsewhere."

The lifestyle and food culture celebrated on an estancia, a large South American vineyard estate, is the inspiration for Victor Albisu’s flagship restaurant in the Chinatown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The airy, 174-seat agrarian space is home to a meat-driven, wine-centric menu that is a product of Albisu’s Latin American roots and travels throughout Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay.

"If you are in the mood for something different, Del Campo is for you. The service is great & the ambiance is nice. The food at this South American restaurant is different - both in terms of what's on the menu and how its prepared. Know that going in. This isn't a place to go when you are hungry or want comfort foods. This is a place to go when you are ready to explore! And, be warned, it is expensive.
Different doesn't mean bad - it means not exactly like what you'd expect. The Salmon Ceviche was excellent.
One more note, this is one of those restaurant that purposely burns the edges of everything it cooks. Take that into account when judging serving sizes."

Nick's Riverside Grille is a family-owned waterfront restaurant serving great American fare, fine steaks, authentic pasta dishes and the freshest seafood. Perched on the Potomac River, our views include Roosevelt Island, the Kennedy Center, Key Bridge and Rosslyn.

We are a perfect place to bring a date for a romantic candlelit dinner in one of our sun rooms. Or bring a group and sit in the larger dining room overlooking the majestic Washington Harbour Fountain and Ice Skating Rink in the winter.

The outdoor patio and bar are open for business from mid-March through November and any beautiful days in between. No reservations are accepted for outdoor dining, as it is first-come, first-served only.

"Nick's Riverside Grill is one of the places in the Georgetown Harbor, across the fountain from Sequoia. The environment inside/outside is not quite as nice as Sequoia, but the food is slightly better. Our server was just okay, but the manager (head server?) did his best to fill in the gaps. There was a long period of time when we didn't get any water service and the manager must have noticed because from then on, he kept checking and filling our waters himself.
Otherwise, the food came out in reasonable time (the appetiser naachos came out fast!). We sat by a window & the large screen so we could look outside and watch Thursday Night Football. Overall, this place does let you enjoy the Waterfront, but go elsewhere for fine dining."
