"No high-profile chef, no advertising gimmicks, no hoopla. Just day in, day out, good food. We've been here many times, and unfortunately, others have discovered the place, so snaring a table at a prime time can be difficult."

La Marmite began a new chapter in its long and successful history with
the sale of the restaurant to the Kearns family in August 2013.
La Marmite is celebrating its 40th Anniversary in 2014 and we are excited
about the changes underway led by Executive Chef Gregory Kearns.
New seasonal menus for lunch and dinner feature fine dining with a modern
French flair.
The restaurant's charming setting is a Victorian mansion built in the early
1900's, surrounded by a beautiful landscape. Elegant and sophisticated,
the spacious dining rooms ensure a comfortable dining experience.
La Marmite offers private parties, wine tastings and catering. Our facility is
handicap accessible and we have ample parking for customer convenience.
We also offer Gift Certificates so you can share the gift of La Marmite
fine dining with family, friends or business associates.
"Although we've lived nearby for many years, this was our first time here. It won't be the last. Be aware that this is not a casual dining spot -- you come here dressed a little better than normal, and you will be attended to better than normal. The food was quite good, the service was exceptional, and yet the prices are only slightly higher than other neighborhood restaurants."

BRIO (meaning "lively" or "full of life") is a "polished casual" restaurant serving authentic, northern Italian cuisine. The subtitle, "Tuscan Grille" is descriptive for a menu that features oven-roasted steaks, chops, and seafood; similar to what one would find in an authentic ristorante in Tuscany. BRIO's philosophy of "to eat well, is to live well" is why they only use the finest and freshest ingredients. BRIO brings the pleasure of a Tuscan country villa to the American city. "We have dined here in the past and enjoyed it. But four of us ate here this most recent time, and none of us were particularly impressed. I ordered a dish that had been recommended by a friend, the sweet potato and chicken risotto. It was just OK, nothing more. (And in fact that friend said she too had it recently and was disappointed.) After two weeks of frequently eating along Atlantic Avenue in Delray, this meal fared poorly by comparison."

Vic & Angelo's menu items are inspired by our desire to transform the American approach to fine, Italian dining into a memorable experience that pays homage to the authentic culinary traditions of Italy.
We have traveled the world looking for the greatest dishes and finest ingredients. We take pride in only importing the freshest products and ingredients for our culinary delights. Our sauces are made with San Marzano tomatoes imported from directly from Naples and our pizza dough contains water imported from New York.
Each of our signature Italian dishes are created in house, using traditional cooking methods practiced by Italians for countless generations. We even hand-make our pasta, mozzarella and sausage!
Our atmosphere is warm and friendly, yet elegant and refined. We believe in the traditional Italian dinner, where everyone comes together to feast. So we invite our guests to sit down, relax, and enjoy their food and conversation with family and friends.

"We've always wondered why this place seems to constantly be busy. Now we know. Reasonable prices, large portions, and most importantly, some very good food."

Using only freshly-prepared, local ingredients in all of our dishes…Offering wines that come from environment-, and earth-friendly growers…Friendly, polite, and accommodating servers who invite you in and make you feel at ease as if you are a welcome guest in their home…This is Max's Harvest The atmosphere in our restaurant is much like that of a dinner party at home, and we only feed you what we would feed our own families. In fact, we believe the best medicine is at the end of your fork. Together with our local suppliers, we strive for sustainability and believe the best-tasting food is that which has just been picked from the garden, lovingly raised at the hands of local farmers or just plucked from the branch of a tree. Come dine with us. Celebrate the moment. Enjoy the Harvest.

"The menu changes throughout the year so that they can take advantage of whatever is fresh and local. We shared the harvest salad, and then had a top-notch burger and fries, and salmon. All were prepared perfectly all were delicious."

"First, be aware that while this spot is a rare BYOB restaurant, be sure you bring only Kosher wine. If not, the wine won't be opened. That said, they serve some very fine Middle Eastern food, including a good variety of well-prepared kabobs."

Chef Jean-Georges brings relaxed elegance to the West Village with Perry St - awarded three stars by the New York Times.

Jean-Georges’ son, Cedric Vongerichten, helms the kitchen, creating dishes that reflect his own keen instinct for balancing flavor and texture with an exquisite blend of French, American, and Asian influences and ingredients. The menu is inspired by the season, centering on the local market at Union Square.

Please visit us http://www.perrystrestaurant.com for menus and more information.

"It's tucked away in a non-touristy spot, with understated signage. The lighting is subdued (actually, a bit too low for our liking) and the decor signals sophistication. The service is friendly yet professional. The menu choices, the food, the presentation all tell you that there is real thinking going on behind the scene. Taken all together, this is what a superior New York restaurant should be."

"If I lived nearby, I would be happy that this place exists. And I'd probably be a regular; good food, good service, fun atmosphere. But I don't live nearby, and so I have to say that it simply is not good enough to warrant a trip from any distance."
