"Our third time there. Excellent food, but the service, while friendly, is lacking. On a Sunday night there seemed to be just one waiter and two assistants for the entire restaurant. We go there for the high quality food (that part of the equation has never disappointed) and even better, we had forgotten about the $30 Sunday prix fixe dinner -- a truly outstanding bargain. But this was the second time that we had oh-so--long waits between visits from our waiter."

"It was a busy Sunday evening, the place was packed. The food was excellent, beautifully presented. But the service, while friendly, was a comedy of errors.
And while the $32 prix fix menu is a bargain, being forced to order dessert right at the start is simply crazy. It's not like my pecan pie was made to order! I was stuffed after the main course, and would have preferred the sorbet but I was locked in.

"The place is basically Vespa 2.0 (As of yesterday, the awing still said "Vespa.") Same charming owner/manager, same chef, similar menu (try one of the fresh pastas!). Meaning, if you liked Vespa (and we always did), you will probably like Ponte Mollo."

A place where whimsy and gastronomical delights go hand in hand, The Office is a modern American Gastropub... A place that is comfortable where the food is as important as the drink, not quite a bar and not quite a restaurant, The Office is offering a casual-meets-refined atmosphere that welcomes beer drinkers and wine snobs, non-fussy eaters and foodies alike. The Office is a charmed neighborhood watering hole...

EXECUTIVE GENERAL MANAGER: DAVID PINELLA

"We were a party of three. We had all been there before, and because we were told the burgers are great (and they were) we all ordered burgers. We also had been told to order the truffle fries as a table appetizer, which we did. (Excellent as well.) But shouldn't the server have mentioned that all the burgers come with their own mound of fries! The Office makes terrific fries -- clearly cut fresh, not from frozen pre-made spuds. But really, we were presented with a mountain of fried potatoes and ate maybe a third of what was on the table. Still, it's a good spot for fun, creative food."

Morton's The Steakhouse, the nation's premier steakhouse group, specializes in classic, hearty fare, serving generous portions of USDA prime aged beef, as well as fresh fish, lobster and chicken entrees. The menu features a variety of favorite cuts, including a 24 ounce porterhouse, which is the house specialty; a 16 ounce New York Strip and a 12 ounce double cut filet.

"Morton's can be counted upon to deliver palate pleasing, stomach-filling meals, albeit for a significant price. In this case, we were a party of six, and almost all were thoroughly happy. There were, however, a few off notes. My porterhouse was tasty, but not quite as tender and flavorful as I've had elsewhere. I do know that steaks can and will vary, and the next time could be completely different. More disconcerting, however, was some of the service. At these high prices we expect high level service. Our waitress was fine, but the table cleaners leaned over to pick up dishes while half of us were still eating. That is unacceptable at a high-end establishment. No dishes ought to be removed until all are done."

Tryst is a local restaurant with a neighborhood pub feeling. Our menu is inspired by the rich Bar culture of Europe, with an emphasis on seasonal, mostly local, farm fresh ingredients

"We didn't know anything about Tryst, but it was on of the few Atlantic Ave. places where we could get a last minute rez on a Saturday night. Uh oh, maybe there is a reason why. Well, to get to the point, this will now be a place we recommend to friends! We truly enjoyed everything about the place -- the fun vibe, the funky outdoor garden (with plenty of heaters), the excllent service, and most important (to us, anyway) the top-quality food."

Dining Italian Style is not just for sustenance, it"s the coming together of family & friends. At La Villetta, the meals prepared by Chef Maria are Old World recipes and her own creations prepared and served to her family and friends for over 25 years. From Caserta, Italy, she learned her culinary art under the tutelage of Chef Angelo Mirra. Maria with Angelo moved to Montreal, Canada via Basil, Switzerland where they worked as a team for eight years at the Hotel Simblone. In Montreal, the first of three 4-star restaurants opened and introduced Maria's style of Italian cuisine. Under the management of Maria's son & daughter, these restaurants still serve the people of Montreal Casa Cacciatore. In 1985 SALVATORE SELLITTO and MARIA COSTANZA opened Casa Cacciatore in Pompano Beach Florida. For 7 years their patrons from Boca Raton demanded they bring to Boca their real sense of Italian hospitality. CUCINA - RICERCATA E GENUINA BUON APPETITO

"The demographic here skews older, but smart foodies of any age should check out this off-the-beaten path gem. The salt baked fish is terrific, equal to the best fish anywhere. The pastas are homemade. Other dishes, like the side salad, are commonplace, but this is a great spot for a romantic meal that will be remembered...in a good way."
