Sushi Nakazawa serves the omakase of Chef Daisuke Nakazawa. Within the twenty-course meal lies Chef Nakazawa’s passion for sushi. With ingredients sourced both domestically and internationally, the chef crafts a very special tasting menu within the style of Edomae sushi. Chef Nakazawa is a strong believer in the food he serves representing the waters he is surrounded by, so only the best and freshest find its way to your plate.

Both sushi bar seats and tables in our dining room are made available 30 calender days in advance.

"Bar none. Nakazawa's training under Jiro could not be more apparent, ranging from the diversity of fish served; the quality of each piece; and the combination of flavors, textures, and styles. Truly an amazing restaurant with simple, elegant decorations. Absolutely worth the wait for the reservation and I hope to be back again soon!"

"Was pretty surprised that we could get a table considering it just opened and there was a considerable amount of hype. That said, it absolutely lived up to expectations. The carrots were absolutely phenomenal, prepared I believe nine different ways, covering the entire spectrum of flavor, texture, and consistency one could conceivably derive from, well, a carrot. The mushroom toast was also delicious, and the mushroom sausage may as well have been beef, considering the flavor and taste (fantastic, by the way.) The lobster and strip steak were also great, if perhaps a bit small portion-wise, but the presentation was beautiful. Definitely planning on returning."

"Simply put, a fantastic steakhouse in a city full of great steakhouses. The porterhouse was cooked perfectly and served with a bone marrow reduction (which, needless to say, you won't find at your standard steakhouse) and a homemade steak sauce, both of which were terrific. The sides were also out of this world - apple potato latkes and a glazed carrot that was unlike anything else I had ever tasted. The waitstaff was attentive, friendly, and explained everything in perfect detail. Kudos to everyone for a great dining experience, looking forward to returning!"

ilili is New York’s premier contemporary Lebanese restaurant offering inspired Mediterranean cuisine. The menu mixes authentic Lebanese dishes with modern Mediterranean influences to create a culinary journey for the palate and senses. Complementing the international cuisine, ilili offers an impressive wine list that includes wines from all over the world and features favorites from Lebanon and the Mediterranean. The restaurant’s decor echoes the diverse menu, combining the architectural richness of Old Lebanon with an attitude and style that is unmistakably New York. A DJ sets the mood with music from around the globe and soft, amber lighting punctuated by candles create a sexy, sophisticated atmosphere in which to enjoy a relaxed meal. The cuisine, décor and ambience come together to create a new world for your senses to explore, whispering gently in your ear, ilili.

TAO Group, the pioneers of the Pan-Asian trend that swept New York City over a decade ago, unveils the evolution of the TAO brand with the opening of TAO Downtown. TAO Group will mark the next iteration of the brand, taking over the spaces formerly home to Hiro Ballroom and Matsuri located beneath the Maritime Hotel and will seat up to 400 throughout the restaurant, with approximately 300 seats in the main dining room alone.
"Absolutely outstanding, plain and simple. The fact that there was a table open at a reasonable hour on a Friday blew my mind; would definitely recommend ordering a bunch of small plates or dim sum platters and sharing everything, rather than doing main plates, although the rare tuna was fantastic in its own right. The crispy rice tuna and scallop/shrimp rolls were incredible!"
