<br>À Côté is a small-plates restaurant in Oakland's charming Rockridge district. Cozy tables surround large communal tables in both the main dining room and on the sunny patio to create a festive atmosphere. Small plates reflecting the best of seasonal Mediterranean cuisine are served family-style by a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Menu items are paired with a carefully chosen selection of over 40 wines by the glass as well as a highly diverse bottled wine menu. Specialty drinks featuring fresh fruits, rare botaniques and fine liqueurs are featured at the bar.

"We sat in the garden, and it was beautiful. The food was not super interesting, but it was delicious. We brought along an infant in a child seat, and appreciated how accommodating the staff was. All in all, you'll have a very pleasant evening at this place."

Louro Restaurant by Chef David Santos presents a menu of New American cuisine, highlighted by international influences. The daily dinner menu at Louro is offered six days a week (Tuesday – Sunday), drawing from the Chef’s French culinary background, Portuguese heritage and acclaimed creative cooking and dining experiences. Monday night dinners feature revolving themed dinner experiences inspired by the success of Chef Santos’ popular Um Segredo supper club. Prior to being the Executive Chef at Louro, Chef Santos held the same roles at such restaurants as Per Se, Bouley, and Restaurant Nicholas. Enjoy his creative fare in a sophisticated yet relaxed setting.

One of America’s most acclaimed and popular restaurants, Danny Meyer’s Union Square Cafe serves robustly flavored, seasonal American cuisine in a relaxed setting of casual elegance. We offer full lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch menus with daily specials in the dining room and at the bar. As Danny Meyer’s first restaurant, Union Square Cafe is the birthplace of a generation of widely lauded, award-winning restaurants, and an enormous number of world-renowned chefs. Union Square Cafe’s iconic food and gracious hospitality changed the restaurant landscape in New York City and continue to set the bar for excellence and innovation.

"I've been to Union Square Cafe several times before, and it was great. Unfortunately, this time it was only good. My gnocchi were not hot, and the lamb dish tasted like it had been warmed over. On the other hand, the service was as professional and friendly as always. Maybe it was just an off night."
