"Another well prepared, professionally served meal at our favorite unpretentious Italian restaurant. Always ask about the specials, and while some of them are offered frequently, several are not, especially fish specials depending on the season and availability. Had the almond crusted red snapper, which I requested with light almonds, and it was served just as I asked.
Ryan, a fairly new addition to the serving staff, is professional, and very easy on the eyes. Suggest you sit on the patio. While you will experience the traffic on Palmetto Park Road, you'll avoid the very loud interior seating which exists at peak hours. Seems like some diners, after some wine, can't shout loud enough...and you have a more pleasing experience outside."

"Another impressive dinner at Boca Landing. Attentive and professional service by Jaime. Cocktails at the bar masterfully made by Osmel. New chef is showing his talents. Double Cut Pork Chop over mushroom risotto was thick, juicy, and the mushroom risotto creamy and at the right temp. The mahi mahi with mofongo was a pleasant surprise. A nice dinner in a special setting overlooking Boca Lake. Go. Soon."

"Rarely eat lunch out, too filling, but was not displeased at having this meal at Tanzy. Surprisingly not crowded for a Thursday at 1, and remained so for the next few hours. Our waitress was attentive throughout our meal. The Tanzy Burger is huge - 10 oz - and loaded with thick bacon and cheese. Served with a nice side of fries. Soup and Salad is a good choice for those seeking something lighter. Appears that they attract a fair amount of business folks at lunch. Recommend this as a lunch option when you are in the Mizner Park area."

"Most people have no idea there's a sit down restaurant on the second floor of Nordstrom, tucked away from the patron flow. It's exceptionally busy at lunch, starting at 11:30, which is understandable considering how busy the store and mall gets. Great salads and yummy spups, well sized. Bread is baked fresh on site and served warm/hot. I've had several of their fish entrees and they have all been tasty. Tried the chicken, which was baked and crispy, and it was a pleasant surprise - very good and would reorder. Our server could have been a bit more attentive, she was tending bar as well as our table, which could have been the explanation. Also, had some questions on wine, she didn't know answer, and neither did the manager on duty. Hmm, let's address that one, considering how large their wine selections are."

"Came for their previously offered fixed prix brunch menu which included a drink plus entree and dessert. It was no longer offered, all brunch offerings are a la carte now. No one could explain - although I asked waiter as well as the seeming manager on duty - what happened to it. I suspect it was eliminated cause it's "season", with enough business from the snow birds and tourists to keep them busy. Did get the bottomless mimosa, which was more OJ than champagne. From our table, was able to see the bar, and noted that bartenders there served the mimosa differently - filled glass with champagne and then added OJ, as opposed to at tables, a pre-mixed pitcher with mimosa was used. Thus, explanation for a weak drink. As to food, it was well prepared and hefty portion size. You won't be disappointed, just note the above if you're a regular... If you are not, you would not even know about it."

Sapphire Boca Raton is the latest and most enthralling new venture by NJ/NY based Indian Cuisine Restauranteur Raju Brahmbhatt. Indian Cuisine, the food from the Indian subcontinent in Asia is primarily characterized by the extensive use of various spices, herbs and other vegetables and sometimes fruits. The subcontinent is as diversified in its culinary traditions as its languages and religions, thus, include a wide assortment of dishes and cooking techniques. As a consequence, it varied from region to region, reflecting the varied demographics. The idea behind this concept is to show Floridians something that reflects modern India in terms of design, ambiance, and cuisine.

"Service has improved since opening, but is still inconsistent. Some food runners/servers unfamiliar with the food, so best to ask the host who will likely take your order if you have questions. Food is tasty, entree portions easily shared, but the appetizers are actually smaller in portion size than when they first opened, so don't expect large apps if you remember Sapphire from their opening. Mixed drinks still an issue, with weaker than average pours, so you'll need more than one cocktail if you like to get a buzz. Suggest you have wine, reasonably priced by the glass. Welcome addition to East Boca restaurant scene. Hope they recruit, train, and keep regular waitstaff."
