Niche opened in August of 2006 with the goal of creating the best possible dining experience. We provide quality food, wine and service in an elegant, yet comfortable setting. Niche fosters relationships with local growers and suppliers in order to highlight the freshest Midwestern produce and products.<br /><br />General Manager and Wine Director Vince Balistreri has created an award winning all-American wine list featuring mostly limited production, boutique and cult wines that highlight the best American has to offer. Niche Restaurant was recently rewarded the prestigious "Award of Excellence" from Wine Spectator magazine in 2010.

"All of the food items we had were well prepared with nice plating and excellent service. I highly recommend Niche (one of the best in the Western Suburbs). I am going to try the tasting menu next time"

Tru is a Mobil four star and AAA five diamond restaurant that has received four-star reviews from Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times and Chicago Magazine. Accolades from the James Beard House include Best New restaurant nomination in 2000 and Outstanding Service Award in 2006. Tru also has been honored with the Wine Spectator Grand Award since 2004 and with one star in the Michelin guide since 2010.<br /><br />We are an adult environment with a dress code policy: jackets are required for gentleman and elegant-casual, business or evening attire for ladies. <br /><br />Dining in the lounge is also available.

"We had the "Experience"......Outstanding courses included foie gras with foam, caviar/sea urchin, beef tartare with white truffle, langoustine with savoy cabbage, skate wing....very good cheese selection...and the marshmallow was fun and tasty. All presentations were excellent and innovative
Despite what other reviewers indicated, the overall quality was excellent, comparable to L2O
