When brothers Ash and Rajiv Gujral planned a new Indian restaurant, they wanted to create neither an ultra-formal dining room nor a tiny hole in the wall venue. ROTI Indian Bistro marries casual, contemporary styling to classic Indian cuisine. Designer Susan Gujral created a warm, modern space with dramatic color, light and imagery that portrays the rich aesthetic essence of India. The chefs take diners on a culinary tour of India, offering a taste of the North in the Tandoori meat dishes and hints of the South in the vegetarian curries. Fresh breads are available from the tandoor, a mesquite- fired clay oven unique to Indian cooking. Local and organic ingredients blend with traditional Indian spices to create a diverse fresh, menu. ROTI prides itself on the dining experience - at this popular new addition to the vibrant West Portal neighborhood, refined customer service from the attentive staff and fabulous food have established a higher standard of dining for the area.

Garlic rules at this world famous North Beach restaurant where dining is an experience for all the senses. Charming private dining areas with unique decor: hanging Chianti bottles, glowing candles, cozy booths and chandeliers. "I've been to The Stinking Rose several time, but this was one of the most disappointing visits. The pork chop was smaller than my previous visits and was way overcooked, which resulted in a tough, chewy meat. The beef short rib was bland and was also a small portion. We waited a long time for our food. People around us who came after we arrived, received their food and completely ate it before ours arrived. I guess they needed the time to overcook the pork chop!"

Fattoria e Mare, a vibrant Bay Area Peninsula restaurant serving simply prepared new urban rustic food. Utilizing organic and sustainable ingredients sourced from local vendors. Prepared by Chef Pablo Estrada and his highly experienced team of chefs have created a menu inspired from food tours throughout the U.K., Europe and the Americas, showcasing the best that California has to offer. The menu will change often featuring ingredients at their peak, there will also be a daily changing four course menu, allowing the chef to feature some of his best dishes and the daily roast from the rotisserie. The menu will also have a wine pairing available to complement each course for an additional cost.
