Using only freshly-prepared, local ingredients in all of our dishes…Offering wines that come from environment-, and earth-friendly growers…Friendly, polite, and accommodating servers who invite you in and make you feel at ease as if you are a welcome guest in their home…This is Max's Harvest The atmosphere in our restaurant is much like that of a dinner party at home, and we only feed you what we would feed our own families. In fact, we believe the best medicine is at the end of your fork. Together with our local suppliers, we strive for sustainability and believe the best-tasting food is that which has just been picked from the garden, lovingly raised at the hands of local farmers or just plucked from the branch of a tree. "Our server was wonderful... very knowledgeable and attentive. The ambience was pleasant but we hit it on a slow night. The food was good but way overpriced with very limited choices. I went home and had a snack."

Johnny V opened in December of 2003 and features the unique cuisine of Chef Johnny Vinczencz. The food is Regional American with Latin and Caribbean influences. Chef Vincencz combines the freshest ingredients of South Florida with a beautifully blended selection of spices from the Caribbean and South America. The result is a wide ranging menu of unique items, like blue corn crusted calamari and ancho cinnamon grilled pork tenderloin. Sporting bold compositions and beautiful presentations, the cuisine at Johnny V is like a trek through America's Heartland by way of the islands. The Chef and his staff have worked had to make dining in this restaurant an elegant adventure. <br /><br />The restaurant has received numerous accolades including 4 stars from the Miami Herald, 4 Stars from the Sun-Sentinel and Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence. In 2005, it was voted #1 of the top 100 restaurants in the Sun-Sentinel as well as Best New Restaurant in Conde Nast Traveler.

"This is one of our favorite restaurants in Ft. Lauderdale and were thrilled to take advantage of their Dine out Ft. Lauderdale menu this month. They offer a delicious 4 course menu for $35. Their smokey tomato soup is my absolute favorite. The spicy calamari appetizer is delicious. I don't think this restaurant makes anything I don't like. We highly recommend it."

"Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. The seafood platter was extraordinary and a generous serving that was enough for two. The entire staff was attentive and focused on making sure every diner was happy. The warm pita bread was delicious. We will return."

"We selected this restaurant from the list of Miami Spice participating establishments. We had no expectation except it is always fun to try a new place during restaurant month. We were won over by each delicious course. The tempura squash blossoms were wonderful. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The Snickers chocolate peanut dessert just hit the spot and the cayenne pepper dusted peanuts lended a unique dimension to the yummy dessert. All and all, the food was creative and the service and ambiance could not be beat. We will return to celebrate our next happy occasion."
