Cocktails have always been a passion of chef José Andrés. It started over 15 years ago when he created the Salt Air Margarita at Café Atlántico. Today, José pays homage to the golden era of cocktails at barmini by José Andrés, a hub of chef-driven libations that serves as his cocktail lab for all of his restaurants and projects. A pioneer in avant-garde cooking, José's passion is on display at barmini as guests are taken on a whimsical journey of yesteryear via classic cocktails and ingredients. Barmini operates as a true extension of minibar, a learning center where chefs and bartenders collaborate and where heritage meets innovation.

"Great place. I compare it to PX (PX is better), although I think barmini suffers from too many drink options. Each person in our group had 1 drink they didn't like and one they did. The "snack" options are great - foieffel was amazing."

Rural Society is a contemporary Argentine steakhouse from nationally renowned master of Latin cuisine Chef Jose Garces. Inspired by his travels to South America, Rural Society is at once rustic and luxurious, bringing the energy and sophistication of Buenos Aires to Washington. Our menu and primarily South American wine list, combined with our warm hospitality and welcoming décor, transport you far from the bustle of the District to the sweeping cattle ranches and grill-fired kitchens of Argentina.

"The food was quite good - similar to Del Campo. I would say more inventive, so some things were better than others. We did the tasting menu - great way to try a bunch of things and we were happy with majority of them. There is a lot of food though - so the $75 or $95 price tag is warranted.
The service was impeccable though, and really made the dinner. Our server had a great personality and really went the extra mile to make sure our dinner was special, and we had everything we needed. Timing was great (although we aren't the kind of people that like to finish a dinner out in less than an hour and a half).
The atmosphere was great, partly due to the service. I would definitely recommend this place!

Cafe Deluxe, an American bistro combining the charm of a neighborhood restaurant with the energy of a bustling European eatery, serves fresh and innovative classics in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Washingtonians have enjoyed the friendly service and casual dining experience for nearly 20 years. The diverse brunch, lunch and dinner menus combine traditional fare like Steak Frites and Grilled Meatloaf with menu favorites ranging from the Spinach, Feta and Tomato Omelet for brunch to the Grilled Atlantic Salmon Nicoise Salad, and the Fra Diavolo Mussels to the Ahi Tuna Tacos.

"I had the salmon for dinner and it was barely edible. The creamy orzo was bland with a weird texture and it had a layer of what tasted like campbells tomato soup around the edge. The salmon was also bland and overdone. I would not eat here again.
My accompanying diner had the chicken pot pie and macaroni and cheese. We didnt finish one of our dishes.

Sons & Daughters is influenced by the seasons, unique elements of their garden, and the surrounding bay area. The approach to the food is thoughtful, delicate, and displays clarity of ingredients. Our tasting menu is 98 dollars.
The garden is located on one acre in Los Gatos, California and contains expansive boxes, a greenhouse and an orchard. The restaurant’s garden grows a variety of flowers, greens, herbs, vegetables, fruits and snails specifically for Sons & Daughters.
The wine program is unique, with wines that balance, enhance and pair the light and playful food. The 28 seat dining room is welcoming and wraps around a lively open kitchen which plays an active role in the dining experience.
Thank you.
"Food was amazing - inventive, modern, complex. Each bite was a different surprise.. in a good way. Service was also impeccable - attentive and interactive without being overbearing. I would definitely recommend - and there is no doubt they should have their Michelin star!"

Highly acclaimed chef Thomas Keller (of The French Laundry) is behind this beautiful Yountville restaurant. Enjoy excellent French bistro cuisine in a dining room offering wonderful Parisian ambiance.

We invite you to visit Bouchon Bakery, an authentic, country-style boulangerie located next door Bouchon Bistro. The Bakery serves traditional French breads and pastries and is open from 7am - 7pm daily.

"Its impossible that this place has one michelin star. Its like they wanted to give french laundry 4 stars, so they gave keller an extra star to throw at this one. While I understand that its a casual french brasserie, I expected the food to be really good, or at least up to the other Brasseries that I've been to. It wasn't at all. For each dish, the food was bland, or the flavors were muddled.
So, AVOID this at all costs. There are so many better restaurants in the napa area, even if you're looking for a casual place with great food.

"Very pleased with my experience here. When we went, most customers were business dinners, but we were on vacation. The food was very good (just don't order the tuna tartare, the sesame oil is overpowering) and the service was attentive and spot on, particularly the sommelier. Would definitely recommend - it holds up to the one michelin star rating."
