If there are any two young people who have had the experience it takes to open their own restaurant, these two are it - - and their coming together reads like a story. Franco Lazzari and Stefano Terzi originally met each in the early 90’s while working in New York. At ViceVersa, Franco and Stefano, unveiled their vision for a contemporary Italian restaurant, combining the traditions of their own cultural background with the youth and energy of their years, and the sophistication and experience of their time in major New York City restaurants.

"ViceVersa has wonderful options for eating. Well prepared and delicious. The wine list is okay, somewhat limited. The drawback is that the restaurant becomes quite noisy, making it difficult to carry on a conversation without shouting."

"Walk in and be welcomed as an old friend. Sit down to a wonderful meal, usually opened with a tiny portion of a wonderful cold soup no matter what you order. The food is fantastic. The service impeccable. It is an occasion no matter what the occasion."

Restaurateurs Vittorio Assaf and Fabio Granato brought their love for French culture and cuisine to New York City by giving the Big Apple an authentic slice of France when they opened Brasserie Cognac de Monsieur Ballon in April 2008. The Brasserie style menu combines French classics. Guests can choose to dine in the outdoor sidewalk café, classic main dining room, lively bar/lounge or the private Cognac Room as they enjoy meals complimented by over 85 varieties of cognac and a gorgeous wine list including first-growth Bordeaux and Burgundies and an extensive wine by the glass list.

"A small restaurant but not small on its offerings or the caliber of the food. There are so many choices that it is necessary to return to try other dishes.
The wine list, although not large, offers some good choices. A wonderful restaurant with good service and wonderful food.
