"had a great Monday lunch! Mussels, Scallops, all great. my friend had the Scrod with the basil topping, might be too much for a subtle fish, on the whole: great! can't wait to go back."

Swift serves a locally inspired, seasonal menu, craft beer, and artisanal cocktails. Guests will enjoy stunning waterfall views through floor-to-ceiling windows in our spacious dining room. Designed by the award-winning architecture and design firm, Rockwell Group, the restaurant provides a gorgeous setting for enjoying an exceptional meal or distinctive cocktail. Our adjoining lounge, 2EM, serves a locally inspired, seasonal menu of small plates, craft beer, and artisanal cocktails. The Patio, a spacious outdoor dining area overlooking Fishkill Creek and Beacon Falls, is open Friday through Sunday, May through October, for lunch, dinner, and cocktails, weather permitting. Whether you're grabbing a light bite, just cocktails, or looking for a nice meal outdoors, its prime location at the corner of Main and East Main Street makes it a fun spot to dine al fresco and enjoy the view and sound of the falls.

"Difficult to find, and frankly if I hadn't seen other reviews I would not have gone in! There is a small sign that is hardly visible after dark, we had driven by earlier so we knew where to park. Inside is beautiful, with a nice view of the falls.
We were there for restaurant week so the menu was set. All of the appetizers were great, my son especially loved the oxtail soup. As for main courses: duck, scallops, and steak were all great. I especially loved the scallops which were cooked perfectly with a delicious sauce.
as for the dessert: yuck. sorbet trio was horrible, one flavor might best be described as soap, and the cheesecake was weird, it came with a strip of fig fan belt as far as we could guess. What a sad end to a delicious meal.

Built in 1790 as a barn and named for local farmer John Kittle, the farm to table connection that began back then continues today at Crabtree's Kittle House. Internationally renowned for its Wine Spectator Grand Award wine list, superlative hospitality and contemporary American cuisine, it is a sophisticated country dining experience located only 45 minutes from Manhattan. Whether stopping in for a casual meal in the Tap Room or planning a formal intimate celebration from 2 to 200 guests, you'll find something for everyone and every occasion at Crabtree's Kittle House. The culinary team focuses on the local bounty of the Hudson Valley, from the casual Tap Room menu of salads, LaFrieda burgers & fresh cold shellfish to the more refined cuisine on the a la carte and Chef's Tasting menus, available in both the Tap Room & Dining Room. And nowhere is there a greater selection of fine wines (5000!) and other libations. Also a Bed & Breakfast, there are 13 rooms for overnight accommodations
