"Went for lunch with business colleagues. Place was super busy but still a group of 5 shouldn't be an issue and we had reservations. Everyone around us was seated AFTER us and yet was serviced their food BEFORE us. Ordered a shared app of the saganaki (flaming cheese) which took forever to arrive and yet within 5 minutes our entrees appeared. REALLY hate that - wouldn't order an app if my main course is going to arrive at same time. No time to enjoy the cheese which needs to be eaten when hot. Food was okay but not great.
Had heard great things about this restaurant from others so maybe I need to try again

"The V", Virginia's Eatery & Brew House, prides itself in providing a diverse menu featuring the freshest ingredients and many locally grown, raised, or made products. With a focus on craft beer, many from Virginia, our bar also offers a full bar and wine list. The elegant yet comfortable dining and bar areas accent your visit with us. We open daily for lunch with full menu service through the dinner hours, followed by a lively entertainment program throughout the week.

"First time and was disappointed. Bar is too small so had to sit in deserted dining room. Food was okay. Special i saw on website apparently doesn't actually exist. Shouldn't be allowed to have brewery in their name.
Server was great. Gave his best effort.

Mon Ami Gabi is a classic French bistro and steakhouse. The traditional menu features classics such as the warm Onion Soup Au Gratin, Frisée & Bacon Salad with a soft-poached egg and croutons, Roast Chicken grand-mère style with mushrooms, bacon and pearl onions, as well as the trademark Steak Frites. At lunch, we offer lighter fare including crepes, quiches and seasonal salads. Come in Saturday and Sunday for our weekend brunch, featuring a Build-Your-Own Bloody Mary Bar.
To complement the cuisine, an extensive selection of over 80 boutique French wine varietals are served by the glass or bottle from our signature rolling wine cart.
Please Note: Reservations are taken for indoor seating only. Outdoor seating is available on first-come, first-serve bases.

"Eight of us, including out of town guests and locals, had reservations for dinner at Mon Ami. Had the beautiful private dining room which made conversation easy. Menu is fantastic. We had a beautiful seafood starter to share that had shrimp, lobster and oysters. Some had the steak which was excellent. Two had the sole special and i had escargot. All excellent.
Service was excellent! Made us feel special thru out the meal.
One of the best wine lists in RTC. Love the French wines myself.
Cant wait to go back again.

"I love this place for a business lunch. The menu choices are varied and all are delicious. Not the same old borring choices either. Seasonal menu. I had the crab cake with jalepeno tarter sauce - fabulous. Others had the pumpkin gnocchi and the fish tacos. Cant wait to go back!
Surprised they dont think of it first but you can adk for a black napkin so as not to get white lint on your clothes.

"The food and view are spectacular. Half our party proclaimed it to be the best meal they have ever had. We had fois gras and three other appetizers. I only had eyes and mouth for the fous gras - suberb. Our mains were all delicious. My scallops were awesome as were the two fish dishes and the pork chop. The flavors of each dish were unique and outstanding.
One drawback was our arrogant, know-it-all waiter who constantly dominated our table and restricted our concersaton time. Apparently his tables are a captive audience and don't you date cut him off cause he will make his displeasure known. Can't believe a restaurant of this caliber allows this behavior.

"Went for work lunch and the DC restaurant menu. Great event menu. Had ceasar salad, grilled duo of filet & chicken, side of creamed spinach and raspberry sorbet. All delicious! Drawback was this took almost 2 hours! Thats fine at dinner but on a work day it was a problem for the 4 of us. Wasn't that it was that busy-- there were just long, long gaps between seeing our waiter and items arriving at our table. Especially dessert and our check.
May return for dinner or HH but cant do lunch again.

"My 4th visit to Paladar and a HUGE disappointment. The food was spectacular so I MAY still come back. The service and the lack of management was terrible. Our waiter took forever to do everything EXCEPT drop off all our food at once and mess up the bill. Even when we got the manager's attention to correct the bill ($25 in their favor) & no apology or attempt to make us happy. No one in the restaurant was willing to address a serious issue of one table of customers annoying every one else. 2 guys with 2 kids & no control. The kids were playing with toys that made noises (fire truck sirens!), rolled balls on the floor in between wait staff & customers (safety hazard), crawling on the backs of the booths. Ridiculous and ruined our experience."
