Naples is the birthplace of pizza, and Neapolitan pizza captures the pure essence of this simple and delicious Italian food. True Neopolitan pizza (or D.O.C. pizza, which stands for 'Denominazione di Origine Controllata') is so pure, there are only a handful of restaurants in the US to make it! Stuzzi creates that authentic product. Our wood fired oven was hand built, on site, to exacting standards. The oven's unique "beehive" design allows the temperature to be maintained at a blistering 1000+ degrees Fahrenheit -- hot enough to turn raw dough, tomatoes, cheese and basil into a blistering bubbling pizza in about sixty seconds.

"I don't know if it's the acoustics of the building but the 2-hour dinner was quite a disaster when we were unable to carry on a conversation. My dad is hard of hearing and didn't enjoy the dinner at all due to the noise. Other than that, the new waiter forgot dishes, they were supposed to bring out a candle for his birthday, but his attitude was great. One of my biggest pet peeves is when my entree comes out before I'm even finished with my appetizer and/or salad, this is a huge faux pas in the dining scene & I didn't even get to finish my salad because they took our plates up. Overall, the food was good, I'll give it another try to see if the kinks have been cleared up, just surprised that this now established restaurant had these issues."

This intimate, small trattoria has the spirit and the charm you would find on Italy and other countries off the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.<br><br>The Chef Daniele Dotti, a native of Venice, has created an eclectic menu that brings to the table the flavors, the traditional recipes and the freshness of ingredients so typical of this region. Our Mediterranean Sea Bass is delicious but if you are in the mood for good pasta try our Linguine Mare Nostrum with a variety of sea food and fresh tomato or our special house made fresh pasta Fettucine Casanova. Now you can enjoy all of this right in the middle of the Grand Canal Shoppes, just a few feet away from Italian gondolas.<br><br>The atmosphere and the decor are informal and friendly and children are welcome, but at night it can be ideal for a good glass of wine and a romantic dinner.

"Food was good and reasonably priced, disappointed that my food came out before I was finished with my salad. Restaurants should know NOT to bring our hot food until the appetizers/salads are done. My food got cold fast and it wasn't appetizing."

"Really excited to try the nightly special of lamb chops and crab cakes, what a disappointment, two lamb chops were overdone and the third was cooked perfectly, even after requesting that the chops be cooked medium rare, just in case...appetizer of butternut squash fondue, was mediocre, needed some kind of spice or seasoning. Really surprised that the food wasn't up to par, the only great part of our dinner, the service was outstanding."
