"The Bird Café, in a historic building in downtown Fort Worth is filled with bird prints, made by twin artists from Fort Worth who copied James Audubon’s style. The service was exceptional with our waitress guiding us through the many small plate selections. Our favorites were “moth balls”, ricotta filled balls, rolled in pasta dough and served with a sauce consisting of fried or dried sage. The Texas quail was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the “pig and fig” were flavorful and satisfying. Extensive wine list with plenty of by the glass options. After dinner, we had a drink on their roof top terrace. A very nice evening, a great date night. Go to the Bird–you know the old 60’s song – before everyone else finds out the Bird is the Word."

Chef Sean A. Wight’s vision of an affordable yet stylish dining and social club is born in Frog Hollow Tavern. Located on the 1200 block of Broad Street, the space is a modern “Restaurant meets Bar” where a diverse crowd of people enjoy the company of others paired with a comfortable atmosphere, detailed service, and exquisite affordable cuisine.
Expect a dinner menu that features a substantial amount of local and regionally grown seasonal quality ingredients, and menu that offers unique libations, which encourages an active and lively upscale bar scene.
The wine list that boasts over a hundred value driven wines has a focus on sustainable, organic, or bio-dynamic practices. The bar also features a diverse offering of Scotches, Cognacs, Bourbons, and Vodkas, and includes many great classic and seasonal cocktails, all made with fresh squeezed juices and homemade mixes.

"This place is worth it. Great farm to table food, cooked with Southern flair, a knowledgeable and friendly wait staff, warm décor and a perfect location make the Frog Hollow the BEST restaurant in town. This time I had the chef's special rendition of Shrimp and Grits. My friend had the Quail -- both were the tastiest best food I had all week. An extensive and affordable wine list top off the place. I also like that I could have a conversation with my dinner partner and we could hear each other -- what a pleasant change, even thought the restaurant was full. Get a reservation and enjoy this place."
