At MP Taverna, Chef Michael Psilakis introduces his award-winning Greek-American fare to Long Island’s North Shore. Located in the heart of Roslyn, NY, MP Taverna is a modern interpretation of a traditional Greek taverna. Open for Lunch, Dinner & Weekend Brunch, MP Taverna is an exciting addition to the Long Island dining scene. The ground floor houses the main dining room & separate bar, while the second floor is perfect for private dining & events. The dinner menu allows diners to order from an assortment of meze, salads, entrees, & plat du jours. Meze options include Meatballs, Octopus with Mediterranean chickpea salad, & Trio of Greek Spreads, highlights from the salad selection include the MP Salad with lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, olives, onions, & feta. Signature dishes like the Lamb Burger with smashed potato & pickle or Grilled Branzino with fingerlings, cherry tomatoes & olives, are offered together with simply grilled options such as Swordfish, Salmon or Steak & Sausage.

"When you come here, the best items are the grilled fish, veggies, and octopus appetizer. The service was the best it has been here. We loved our meal and it was a delightful experience. This is our "go to" restaurant in Roslyn!"

"The Members' Dining is notable for it's lovely setting and view of the park as well as the good service. While the waiters could be more personable and attentive throughout the meal (not just at check time), the rest of the wait staff more than compensates for the waiter's lack of attention. For example, pepper mill could be offered at the table whenever food is served. The food, while nicely presented, is good not great especially given the price. The place does make for a special lunch, but it could be better food given the price."

"We arrived at the charming River Café to celebrate our son's and daughter-in-law's upcoming birthdays. The gracious, charming entrance provided a lovely first impression. We were warmly greeted and seated by the window with excellent views of the water, sunset and later fireworks that lit up the River! We had excellent, reasonably priced wines and a sumptuous, delicious meal. The service was flawless and perfectly timed so we could talk and enjoy our fantastic food. I haven't been at the River Café in more than 30 years, but its new reincarnation is a delight for New York and visiting gourmets. Run, don't walk to the River Café for your next special evening! You will be well-rewarded! It is a delight for all the senses."

The Cupping Room Café was established in 1977. It was originally a wholesale coffee establishment. Different blends of coffee were brewed and tasted by perspective customers. This act of blending and tasting different coffees is called cupping - hence the name The Cupping Room. The coffee tasting went so well that the owners decided to change the name from The Coffee Connection to The Cupping Room Café. They also decided to open the back of the store and sell coffee and pie to the local artists. The building hosting The Cupping Room is a landmark building. It was the first "tall" building in SoHo and is more than 100 years old. The high tin ceilings, hard wood floors, pot-belly stove and exposed brick walls are all part of the original setting. The Cupping Room was a home for artists and locals. Today it is still a neighborhood place where you can see the locals and the famous come together in our homey environment.

"I met a friend at the Cupping Room for lunch -- my first time in a decade -- and it was simply as good and unique as ever. It is a comfortable, friendly restaurant with very good food (especially the eggs) and I was delighted to see that it stayed the same. SoHo has so many new, trendy, overpriced restaurants, the Cupping Room is still a delight with well-priced food. The best part was the friendly, attentive service. Our waitress was excellent. The staff seem to enjoy working there and are professional and courteous.
An excellent experience -- I will be back again soon (and so will my friend)!"
