"We arrived at the charming River Café to celebrate our son's and daughter-in-law's upcoming birthdays. The gracious, charming entrance provided a lovely first impression. We were warmly greeted and seated by the window with excellent views of the water, sunset and later fireworks that lit up the River! We had excellent, reasonably priced wines and a sumptuous, delicious meal. The service was flawless and perfectly timed so we could talk and enjoy our fantastic food. I haven't been at the River Café in more than 30 years, but its new reincarnation is a delight for New York and visiting gourmets. Run, don't walk to the River Café for your next special evening! You will be well-rewarded! It is a delight for all the senses."

The Cupping Room Café was established in 1977. It was originally a wholesale coffee establishment. Different blends of coffee were brewed and tasted by perspective customers. This act of blending and tasting different coffees is called cupping - hence the name The Cupping Room. The coffee tasting went so well that the owners decided to change the name from The Coffee Connection to The Cupping Room Café. They also decided to open the back of the store and sell coffee and pie to the local artists. The building hosting The Cupping Room is a landmark building. It was the first "tall" building in SoHo and is more than 100 years old. The high tin ceilings, hard wood floors, pot-belly stove and exposed brick walls are all part of the original setting. The Cupping Room was a home for artists and locals. Today it is still a neighborhood place where you can see the locals and the famous come together in our homey environment.

"I met a friend at the Cupping Room for lunch -- my first time in a decade -- and it was simply as good and unique as ever. It is a comfortable, friendly restaurant with very good food (especially the eggs) and I was delighted to see that it stayed the same. SoHo has so many new, trendy, overpriced restaurants, the Cupping Room is still a delight with well-priced food. The best part was the friendly, attentive service. Our waitress was excellent. The staff seem to enjoy working there and are professional and courteous.
An excellent experience -- I will be back again soon (and so will my friend)!"

Located in the heart of Times Square and the Theater District, and walking distance to every Broadway show, this landmark eatery treats you like family and offers up perfect steaks, homemade mozzarella and a fabulous antipasto bar.
Bond 45 feels like part of old New York, because it is. The Ziegfeld Follies played on our roof back when the building was the Hammerstein Theater.
The New York Post calls Bond 45 “An Italian steakhouse reincarnation of the old Jack Dempsey’s, which already tastes like a long running hit, and Hal Rubenstein of New York Magazine says it: ”Treats [you] like family while executing home-style cooking as solid as my mom’s."

"We were enchanted by the warm, welcoming service at 45 Bond. Just a few steps away from frantic, crazy Times Square there is this gem of a restaurant. As soon as you enter, you are greeted warmly and taken to a lovely table that is just perfect for you. The hostess is professional, friendly and careful to meet your every need. We were served by a terrific waiter who provided excellent suggestions for drinks and dinner. The warm antipasto, and the steak and fish dishes were excellent. The desserts need work and more variety. We will return whenever we are in the area, but not have dessert!"

Avra Estiatorio is a restaurant that transports you to the Greece of your imagination. The sky is vivid blue and the air is drenched with sunlight and the aroma of freshly caught fish grilling over an open fire.

"I met a friend and we had a nice lunch -- good food, pleasant wine, lovely atmosphere and nice service. The grilled squid could have had more flavor and been better cooked with more of a char, but it was nice. The salad was good. Overall the food could use more flavor, but the atmosphere, service and lovely décor make up for it."
