Mario Batali, Joseph Bastianich, Andy Nusser and Nancy Selzer, the team that brought you Tarry Lodge in Port Chester, NY is excited to announce the opening Tarry Lodge Enoteca Pizzeria, TL's casual little sister, in Saugatuck.
Tarry Lodge Enoteca Pizzeria features Andy Nusser's signature hand-made pastas, exquisite fritti, and succulent meats cooked to order on our wood fired grill. The menu will have a distinct focus on local ingredients and we are taking full advantage of Westport's bustling farmer's market.
The centerpiece of the room is a Mugnaini pizza oven hand crafted by the famed Refratarri Valoriani, a family of artisans making pizza ovens since 1890. This fantastic oven will be surrounded by a dining counter, where guests can watch pizzaiolo Mario La Posta craft his world class pies.

"We always enjoy Tarry Lodge for its good food and friendly service. We do avoid peak weekend dinner hours, when it can be quite noisy, but otherwise we find it a comfortable place for everything from pizza or a light light lunch to a full-course dinner--all at reasonable prices."

Oak and almond wood fuels our wood burning oven and stove. Imparting an earthy quality to many of our menu items, these hardwoods are at the heart of our restaurant's philosophy.

With cuisine inspired by the traditions & techniques of yesteryear, our philosophy is simple: provide delicious handcrafted food, created with well sourced seasonal ingredients with a focus on hearth & flame. We source the best artesian ingredients and prepare them simply with respect. The wine program highlights biodynamic and organic selections, which compliment the simple integrity of our menu.

An 18 foot communal table, crafted from local 100 year old oak floorboards anchors the dining room. Hand-rubbed walnut tables, industrial fixtures, and an open kitchen featuring a wood burning oven and stove provide a modern yet warm dining experience.
"The menu is varied and interesting, and everything we tried was delicious. Our booth near the wood-burning fireplaces was cozy and our server attentive. We'll definitely return."
