With its euro-chic décor, sensual lighting and "the best bar music in the city," Amélie bar has changed the way good wine is enjoyed and consumed. Patrons appreciate the generous pour, the low turnover of the staff, the international flair, and the great choice of good wines at fair prices.

"My first time here. Super friendly waiter Frederik greeted us. I followed his recommendations of special squash soup which was very good but could have used a bit more spice. Salmon tartar is out of this world along with the oh so French fries. My fathers steak was a nice, tasty, juicy cut. Dessert of tarte Tatine was good. Cree brûlée with banana baked in was delicious. Oh and coffee is high quality and perfect strength. Overall I recommend this place but I think if it's late, the bar might fill up. There's a big bar area in the middle of the restaurant and it may be very noisy. There are cozy tables at the windows and in the back."

Lafayette is an everyday French restaurant conducting the spirit of French dining anew in downtown Manhattan’s NoHo neighborhood. Open morning, noon and night, this grand café and bakery is dedicated to Chef Andrew Carmellini's market-driven bistro cooking in a timeless hallmark setting. Our light-flushed dining room features soaring arched windows overlooking the NoHo streetscapes and a lively rotisserie bar. Our corner boulangerie-patisserie is open all hours offering artisanal breads, croissants, Stumptown coffee drinks, a light breakfast or lunch and a host of confections. In warm weather months, our sidewalk cafe opens daily for open air lunch, brunch and dinner service.

"I have been here a number of times but some dishes were better before. The creamy leek soup tasted a bit weird and sour. Previously the soup was just perfect and delicious. The trout was tasty it the cabbage it came with, fairly sour. My father had a steak which was very small and a bit chewy. His artichoke soup was just ok and a bit salty. I mainly love who place for it's pastries, fruit tart, coffee and salmon tartare. Everything else was just ok. Service was good this time. At my prior visit, service was terrible. So go figure."

"I used to go to Mesa Grill where service was warm, always got a nice table and food was good. I requested a table away from bar here but got squeezed into a very noisy, crowded table directly behind the bar. I asked for another one and for one right at waiters station. I could literally look into the staff computer, clanking of glasses, bottles was literally at my ear. Server was polite and made good food suggestions but was generally absent. Food like Gato salad, kale paella and giant prawns was very good. Drink with gin and cucumber was excellent. Shrimp appetizer wasnt anymore special than in Spanish tapas restaurants. Would I go back. After the cold reception I got, I may think about it.
Main suggestion, if you want to have a good dining experience, ask for a table totally away from the bar. It's extremely noisy and crowded there."

"I have been here before and always found the food amazing. I was disappointed to learn that the snack menu has been discontinued. The available dishes were still as wonderful as ever. It took us a while to order as the waitress was overwhelmed by another customer with a million questions. Another server dropped my bread on the floor and had to wait some time for replacement. otherwise the food is outstanding and I already crave it again. Our fav dishes are the mushroom custard, salmon appetizer, oysters and fish entree. What bothered me a lot was that waitstaff gathered in the main dining room at the wine wall and talked so loudly that it disturbed me."

"The setting of the restaurant is very nice and on trend. Serve was warm and friendly but a bit overwhelmed when larger groups came. I ordered oysters, catch roll and tartare trio. Oysters weren't super fresh and I had to ask to exchange two which were gooey and yucky. Not acceptable. Catch roll contains crab but they substituted it for me and it was delicious. Tartare trio is heavenly and highly recommended. Dessert selection is small and not impressive. Overall it's a good restaurant and I would go again."

Blenheim is an enticing new restaurant in the West Village highlighting ingredients sourced from owners Morten Sohlberg and Min Ye’s proprietary 150-acre farm in the Catskill Mountains. The restaurant is a canvas for the property’s vegetables, fruits, meats, dairy, and even maple syrup. A curated wine list showcases organic, biodynamic, and natural wines and artisanal cocktails will utilize farm ingredients to pair with the flavor profiles of the menu. Inspired by a world away from the bustle of New York City, this 45 seat eatery with modern lines give a departure from the traditional farm-to-table look, juxtaposed against vintage and antique décor. We look forward to welcoming you to Blenheim.

"This is my regular lunch place and my favorite table is always ready. Pasta dishes are delicious and well prepared. They can be made gluten free. My favorite appetizers are salmon and yellowtail tartares along with pulpo ie. octopus appetizer. They are always delicious. Octopus used to be salty but I complained and the issue has been fixed. Coffee service is superior. Breakfast is also available with abundant selection of hot dishes and Italian pastries. Heaven! Service is warm, friendly and speedy. I'm usually served by Irene, who is a warm, sweet Italian lady.
This restaurant has a UES branch with stuffy, upscale clientele. I prefer the more relaxed, down to earth Soho vibe."

"After my excellent lunch here on 11/10, I expected the same on 11/14 but not so. Yes it was very busy and crowded and I didn't get a table I would have liked. The bad experience started when I sat down and had to ask for a menu after some 10 min of waiting. Had to wait another while to order from a waitress who was very unavailable and talked to busboys a lot. My dessert came out before the meal twice!"
