It's hard to imagine a more stunning location for a meal. With outstanding views of the Falls and Snoqualmie River, The Dining Room at Salish Lodge & Spa provides a wonderful escape from the din of everyday life and a refreshing change from the typical Seattle restaurant experience. Our menu, features Northwest cuisine with flavors both simple and sublime, using seasonal ingredients and indigenous cooking techniques.

Come in for our Salish Lodge Country Breakfast, a lodge tradition featuring a four-course breakfast, including our famous steel-cut oats and the iconic Honey from Heaven service where honey from our own hives is poured from high above your plate onto your buttery homemade biscuits. Or bring friends in for lunch and enjoy a relaxing meal by the fire. Of course, The Dining Room is most magical at dinnertime, and just what you would expect in the finest luxury resort in Washington.

"We enjoyed a few things, but not much. The first sign was when I asked if the terrine was big enough to share and the waiter responded that he didn't know because he hadn't served it yet. Two orders were more than adequate; it was quite heavy and cheesy. We had not finished our appetizers when the waiter apologized that our entrees were ready because they have a new menu. That made sense to him, but not us. My scallops entree was so oversalted I was unable to eat it. We ordered bread pudding for dessert. I asked, "this is bread pudding?" the response was, "It has some bread cubes in it. Only when we started eating did we realize it was Trifle, not Bread Pudding. Although convenient for pre-concert dining, this meal did not "Measure" up."

Aragona is a chef driven, deeply personal “author’s” cuisine that serves simple and sophisticated versions of classic dishes from Spain, utilizing the products of small, local farmers and local and imported artisans. There will be an emphasis on examining the roots of these cuisines, namely, using the historical reach of the kingdom of Aragon as a lens to explore and promote how boundaries of power, empire and trade influenced and shaped traditional and modern dishes from these regions.

"Aragona is definitely for foodies. There are some wonderful dishes on the menu. Unfortunately, the menu is quite limited and those less adventurous might not find options. Our waitress was wonderful about offering some more simple preparations for someone who didn't want anything raw, didn't care for foie gras or roe which seemed prevalent on the small menu, and generally preferred to eat vegetarian, but at those prices, we weren't really ready to experiment. The size of portions for the price was quite disappointing. That being said, there are some lovely and delicious dishes and a very interesting blend of "northwest inspired" Spanish/Catalonian/Andalusian foods. The wine list is excellent and service could not have been better."
