Beat Hôtel is an American brasserie and bar located in the heart of Harvard Square. Inspired by the hippie and beat movements of the mid-twentieth century, we cater to all walks of life. Our mission is to satisfy the local community as well as vagabonds passing through.

With an always fresh, seasonal, and wholesome menu, enjoyable for carnivores and vegetarians alike, our dishes draw influence and flavors from around the world. Our bar celebrates American spirits and American artisanal wines crafted by small batch winemakers with heart and soul.

To heighten the senses further, we feature daily live music by cutting edge musicians in jazz, blues and world music, bringing eclectic artistry to our stage in Cambridge.

"This place is exactly what Harvard Square needs! A fun bar and restaurant geared toward us more "mature" folk. The music was great, the food was great and the atmosphere was awesome!"

"Everything was delicious! Two of the 3 at our table did not even order steak and we loved our dishes. The Cod was amazing! It came to the table piping hot and delicious!"

In November of 2011, chefs Jason Cichonski and Chip Roman partnered to open Ela, an inventive new American bar and restaurant in Philadelphia’s Queen Village neighborhood. Ela showcases 27-year-old Cichonski, who Philadelphia Inquirer’s Craig LaBan called “one of our most exciting young chefs,” is combining an approachable menu of innovative dishes with an extensive wine and craft beer program and inspired cocktail list in a rustic-modern setting.
“Creatively, it’s wonderfully freeing to prepare food that doesn’t fit into any one genre or style; this is seasonal food, using exceptional ingredients, prepared perfectly,” says Chef Cichonski. Ela is a serious-yet-comfortable restaurant with a menu that that changes frequently throughout the year, to reflect the latest offerings.

"We went here on a rainy night and the whole atmosphere, from the food to the decor was warming! A must go to when in Philly!"
