"Made reservations and went there Saturday night, we were promptly seated and our server was very knowledgable. We ordered a bottle of Chardonnay and the Hawaiian blue shrimp. It was amazing, I ordered the Gumbo and it was very good. My wife ordered the petrake sole, which was good as well.
The only thing we would like better is a slightly bigger selection of dinner menu items as we have been here twice and we are running out of choices."

"This is our go to place for wine and small plates, their wine list is amazing and priced really well. We are always offered special wine selections they have and have taken them up on many occasions to be pleasantly surprised by them. They know wine!.
My wide and I order their cheese plate always, goes well with Chardonnay. They have dinner choices as well, plan to try that soon.
Go there and enjoy great wine and food along with a fun atmosphere."

"Went there for a reunion dinner. Great food, good service and the location has great water views. Definitely our go to place for dinner. We all had the crab stuffed steelhead salmon, it was outstanding."

After working at Chez Panisse for over 20 years, Russell Moore opened this warm and rustic restaurant in the Grand Lake area of Oakland. Inspired by traditional home cooking in France, Italy and Spain most of the dishes served at the restaurant are cooked at the restaurant’s prominent fireplace or wood burning oven. A small, decisive, daily changing menu reflects the seasons, the region and the restaurant’s commitment to small farms. Camino offers a specialized cocktail menu using the same carefully sourced ingredients as the kitchen.

"We made reservations a week in advance and were seated promptly. Seating is communal, you ghetto share your table with others. Not a place for a romantic evening.
We had to wait for service, but once attended to service was ok. Food was really good, we had the quail appetizer, which was really good, I had the lamb entree and my wife had the dungenes crab. They were both fresh and tasty but did not blow us away.
Not sure if this is our kind of restaurant to dine out at. Prefer more private and less noisier."
