"Food was very good. Pasta was homemade. Calamari was excellent - lightly breaded, cooked to perfection, nice spices. The seafood soup was too mildly seasoned for me but was still good. Loved the artwork on the walls and the overall character of the place."

"Based on reviews I ordered te boullibaise and it was fantastic. Spinach salad was good though drowning in dressing. Husband loved his ribeye and shrimp cocktail."

"This is our special event restaurant because it has the right combo of great food, service, and ambiance. Had a great time on our recent visit, and they were able to seat us right away even though we were about 20 min early."

The Point is a locally owned and operated neighborhood gathering place. Located in the heart of historic Five Points. Serving lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. We pride ourselves on using the best our local farmers have to offer. All our beef and pork is natural, hormone free and locally raised. The beef is grass fed, grain finished, and dry aged. We feature local fresh seafood and produce daily. Our motto is we are farm to fork whenever possible. We pride ourselves on our diverse menu and our wood-fired specialties including our award winning brick-oven pizzas. We also offer a nice selection of salads, sandwiches, burgers, and steaks. We have all ABC permits, featuring a full bar that includes some local brews, and an extensive wine list. Thursday nights we also have live entertainment starting at 10:30 PM. "I had high hopes based on the reviews but was let down. The food was fine but it wasn't excellent. My steak didn't have the flavor I expected and the roasted potatoes fell flat. The wine was quite good as was the service but the meal was more expensive than it was worth."
