Cavatina- a musical term describing an unembellished melody, beautiful in it's simplicity
Award winning Chef/Restauranteur Michael Schlow, is proud to introduce Cavatina, a new, exciting restaurant serving lunch and dinner at the fabled Sunset Marquis in West Hollywood.
A long time fan and guest of Sunset Marquis, this marks Michael’s first LA restaurant and he’s teamed up with Executive Chef Roger Eggleston to present dishes at Cavatina that showcase their unique cooking styles and bold approach to food.
Cavatina boasts an impressive wine list and the restaurant's setting and service embodies Sunset Marquis’ casual and relaxed vibe.
The menu, broken into 4 Categories (Snacks, Crudo, Small Plates, Entrees) offers guests incredible flexibility and gives the chefs the perfect platform to present the beautiful local products available to them.
Tavern is the third restaurant from the chef and sommelier team of Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne, who also own Lucques restaurant and AOC winebar. This is their West Los Angeles outpost, which serves as a local gathering spot for the Brentwood crowd. Chicly designed by Jeffrey Alan Marks, Tavern encompasses three separate, yet connected spaces: a glass roofed atrium dining room, a large blue walled bar and a café space called the Larder that features casual dining, bakery, retail and prepared foods to go. The restaurant serves Suzanne Goin’s signature California/Mediterranean cuisine with just a touch of a classic American influence.

"Had another just so-so meal. The entree arrived cold and everything was over-priced. Also, the elderly crowd has realy kept away the younger set."
