Taboon means "oven" in Arabic. Considered the heart of our restaurant, the wood fired Taboon oven delivers freshly prepared specialties that are exotic, healthful and full of flavor. Our trademark "Middle Terranean" cuisine blends the traditions of the Mediterranean with Middle Eastern cuisine using French techniques to create dishes that are uniquely delicious. Visit us at 773 10th Avenue, at the corner of 52nd Street, just steps away from the Theater District to find out what everyone's talking about. And ask us about our brand new PRE-THEATRE PRIX FIXE MENU! Reserve a table with us between 5pm and 6:30pm Monday through Friday and enjoy 3 courses accompanied by our famous fresh-baked-to-order foccacia for only $35 per person!

"Tasty Middle Eastern fare at this busy restaurant loses its appeal because of the noise level and general chaos of the cute but over crowded space. This is no place for a relaxing meal."

Estiatorio Milos by Costas Spiliadis is a family restaurant that is true to its roots in every sense of the word. With 32 years of hard work and loyalty, Milos Miami marks the brand’s fifth location. An open kitchen is offset by a fish market display providing diners with a stunning selection of more than a dozen varieties of whole fresh fish served by the pound. Selections arrive daily from independent fishermen as nearby as the Florida Keys and as far as the Greek Islands. While they vary with the changing of the tides, guests have the opportunity to engage in their dining experience - pick it, price it and make it theirs.

"Milos is a great restaurant by almost any measure. We've been several times and always appreciate the skilled and prompt service and the exceptionally good food, particularly the fresh fish. The branzino baked in a salt crust is absolutely the tastiest, moistest, most mouth-watering meal imaginable. My one complaint is the wine list. Very few wines are available for less than $100, and this is ridiculous in today's wine market, where truly spectacular wines are sold at other restaurants for half that amount, and very drinkable wines for a third."

ALTAMARE is the new restaurant by highly-acclaimed restaurateur Claudio Giordano. The warm and inviting restaurant designed by Juan Carlos Arcila-Duque features an open kitchen, chef’s table, intimate bar and private dining room. As many menu items feature daily-caught fish, menu items are subject to change.

Altamare is located on the west end of Lincoln Road, just steps away from the new promenade and public plaza, perfect for an after-dinner stroll.

"Altamare serves the freshest, most carefully prepared fish in South Beach, complimented by superb pastas and a good, though not inexpensive, wine list. The service is invariably careful and experienced, and dining outside on the sidewalk is pleasant, not chaotic like Lincoln Road restaurants east of Alton. In colder or too hot weather, the indoor seating is attractive and comfortable, looking at an open kitchen. A great place."
