"This is our 3rd visit to this lovely restaurant in Old Town Alexandria - quaint interior - great menu - and outstanding service is what you experience at Geranio. We have enjoyed both dinner and lunch here - note - like many restaurants in Old Town - on street parking or a parking garage."

As the Historic Occoquan Waterfront Area welcomes L'Hermitage, a Classic French Bistro, we welcome you. Long time DC restaurateur (21 Federal/Bob Kinkead,Ex Co-Owner of Marcels DC, Watergate Hotel F&B) Youssef Eagle Essakl has transformed a building and the surrounding property in historic downtown Occoquan into his vision of a Romantic French country bistro. L'Hermitage, a great escape from the hectic DC restaurant scene, promises 'relaxed good taste' with the polish and sophistication of fine dining. Join us for a very special experience.<br />Our Motto is:<br />"Hospitality is the Art of Making Others Feel Welcome, Comfortable, and at Home.<br />It is the Talent for Spreading Warmth and Kindness that will be Remembered Always."

The signature dish at Legal Sea Foods – really fresh fish. <br />Virginia is for lovers (of seafood)! Our two-story restaurant is double the fun with entrances on both levels for easy entrée. Choose to make a splash in the downstairs dining room or in the bar upstairs. Our landscaped interior patio is also a popular lure.<br /><br />Our convenient restaurant location within Tysons Galleria will get you hooked. Legal Sea Foods has long proven that a consistent, high quality dining experience never goes out of style. With over 40 varieties of fresh fish and shellfish available throughout the year as well as an award-winning wine list, there’s no doubt why legions of fans have fallen hook, line and sinker.<br /><br />We’ve received a boatload of accolades including being named “#1 Best Seafood Restaurant” in a nationwide poll by USA Today (2013) and and the honor of serving our legendary New England Clam Chowder at every presidential inauguration since 1981.

Why would a restaurant born and raised in Massachusetts open a location in Woodbridge, Virginia? Doesn’t seem like a path the average restaurant would be expected to take. But then, we’re not the average restaurant — something you might have guessed from our name. Now to answer the question. We chose Woodbridge because it’s a thriving community in a beautiful part of the country. Leesburg and Gaithersburg — the other two communities we’ve settled into outside of our native Massachusetts — both welcomed us warmly, so we think we’ll be at home in Woodbridge too. there are five breweries, three wineries and numerous farmer’s markets within a 20-mile radius of our soon-to-be home in Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center. That means we’ll have plenty to satisfy our preference for locally sourced ingredients. Our chef takes a creative approach to made-from-scratch food, where everything is prepared to order (aka, your way), where service is over the top and prices are not. That’s us.

"We come to this restaurant for our special occasions but we were just thrilled beyond belief with our recent special Thanksgiving Dinner here! We had special family and friends from out of town that we brought with us (it was a birthday celebration also) and our food, service, and general ambiance was even more than outstanding this time! While the menu for special holidays is not the full menu offering - the selection was excellent and everyone had lots to choose from - you could do the traditional turkey dinner (lovely and plentiful) or order steak, seafood, veal, etc. We were so pleased that we chose this lovely restaurant for this special holiday!"

History has been written inside the walls of the Wharf, with its 1790's style architecture featuring original wood columns and beams that are charred black from a Civil War fire. Since 1971, satisfied diners have been heading to The Wharf in Old Town for whole Maine lobster, local soft shell crabs and prime steaks. The restaurant has recently been renovated and remodeled and the menu updated to include many contemporary seafood items along with their traditional Chesapeake Bay creations.

"My husband and I enjoyed our joint birthday dinner celebration at this charming and delightful restaurant. It always reminds me of a bistro in the Normandy area of France. The choices on the menu are extensive and there is always something for everyone to enjoy! Be sure and try this lovely restaurant during the holidays!!"
