Wink & Nod operates a rotating kitchen where every 6 months, we invite a new restaurant group to run our kitchen and experiment with dishes as bold and creative as our cocktails. With this program, Wink & Nod hopes to contribute to the development of up-and-coming Chefs by providing them with a restaurant platform in which to operate and showcase their talent.

Chef Patrick Enage & Akinto will be joining us beginning on March 30. Akinto: which in Filipino translates into "This is mine" will be featuring Chef Enage's interpretations of his native cuisine as well as flavors from all over Southeast Asia. A native of the Philippines, it has always been Patrick's dream to share the flavors of his native country with the people of Boston

Wink & Nod is a 21+ establishment. Proper ID required.
"A friend and I had a fabulous dining experience here this past weekend which began the moment the door was opened for us. After the friendly greeting, we descending the darkened stairwell, setting the scene for the speakeasy feel of the restaurant. It really felt like we were entering a secret, exclusive location. (Not to fear: the stair treads were well lit so that you would not misstep.) We were seated quickly and my friend mentioned to the hostess it was my birthday. From that moment forward, the staff thoroughly extended themselves and exceeded all expectations, from a prosecco toast for us to a delectable appetizer from the chef. All of our selections were delicious, both the small and medium plates as well as our dessert. Although it was only the first week of Chef Enage's stint at Wink and Nod, the food was impeccably presented and wonderfully prepared. Two of our favorites were the Kabayaki Glazed Swordfish Belly and the Braised Oxtail. (The Thai Tea Creme Brulee was a perfect finishing touch, as well.) Our server, Zoe, was attentive and did an excellent job of helping us choose the right cocktail. Wink and Nod is a new Boston favorite! Thanks for a memorable evening!"

"This was our first meal at L'Andana and it won't be our last. Everything from the bread (served toasted with Parmesan and dipping oil with herbs and a tomato spread) to the dessert was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. My arugula salad had wafer thin slices of dried apple that complimented the cranberry and cider viniagrette nicely. The filets were some of the best my husband and I had ever eaten and their temperature, perfection. They were served with a baked potato and grilled romaine. Normally, I skip the potato with a similar meal and save room for tastier and more unique foods. Well, there is magic in L'Andana's kitchen because they even made the simple baked potato something remarkable! We shared two large sides of wild mushrooms with garlic and crispy Brussels sprouts with Parmesan and bacon. Desserts consisted of their chocolate crema and their panna cotta with praline nuts and salted caramel. We cannot wait to return! This is definitely a special occasion venue, especially for a Saturday night, as the prices are high (higher than both of their "high end steak house competitors", the Capitol Grill and The Bancroft). However, if you live in the area and can attend on a weeknight to take advantage of their three course meals (priced at $45 per person), consider that a most worthwhile opportunity and "bargain"."
