"This was our first meal at L'Andana and it won't be our last. Everything from the bread (served toasted with Parmesan and dipping oil with herbs and a tomato spread) to the dessert was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. My arugula salad had wafer thin slices of dried apple that complimented the cranberry and cider viniagrette nicely. The filets were some of the best my husband and I had ever eaten and their temperature, perfection. They were served with a baked potato and grilled romaine. Normally, I skip the potato with a similar meal and save room for tastier and more unique foods. Well, there is magic in L'Andana's kitchen because they even made the simple baked potato something remarkable! We shared two large sides of wild mushrooms with garlic and crispy Brussels sprouts with Parmesan and bacon. Desserts consisted of their chocolate crema and their panna cotta with praline nuts and salted caramel. We cannot wait to return! This is definitely a special occasion venue, especially for a Saturday night, as the prices are high (higher than both of their "high end steak house competitors", the Capitol Grill and The Bancroft). However, if you live in the area and can attend on a weeknight to take advantage of their three course meals (priced at $45 per person), consider that a most worthwhile opportunity and "bargain"."
