Had a midweek dinner here on Wednesday evening. Vibrant bar scene. Once you enter restaurant reasonably calm for a 630 reservation gets very busy by 8 PM.
Plenty of comfortable booth seating we had a table I must say very comfortable -nice lighting.
Food was fantastic--had a very good Classic Caesar salad --oh I know those are everywhere but it was a very good dressing also appetizer of crispy zucchini was to die for a giant plate of crispy zucchini with lemon and Parmesan. Penne Seafood Alfredo entree was something I would not order every day because it was so rich but it was delicious with the seafood and a white cream sauce.
Veal chop excellent as well.
Service was very good the server suggested a very good white German wine ( not sweet) I would've never thought to order it was excellent.

Welcome to Cedar Creek American Bar & Grill where simplicity is refined. Cedar Creek is a chef inspired American bistro fueled by the culinary team of Chef David Dunn. Chef Dunn’s team will be serving up culinary delights that will appeal to a wide array of palates; from Carolina BBQ pulled pork sliders to Colorado lamb burger, from "Angry Mussels" to crispy blue fin tuna. Cedar Creek is located at 75 cedar swamp road in beautiful Glen Cove New York on the border of Glen Head. The décor is simply contemporary with warmth that is accented by beautiful walnut and cream tones. The restaurant has several different areas that add intimacy to the ambiance; including a beautiful outdoor patio for the warmer months. Join us for dinner seven nights a week or simply join us for a cocktail, glass of wine, or one of our thirty bottles of beer at the bar.

"We come here often and the food on this past Saturday night was fantastic. The short rib entree is amazing.
One of our friends had the crispy tuna which was great and the Pan seared sea scallops were fantastic as well.
If you love sushi grade tuna their tuna tartare appetizer is really the best on Long Island.
Cocktails and wine are great as well we always thoroughly enjoy this restaurant

"Had dinner on a week night on a surprisingly warm evening in New York City for November. Three of us dined and decided to sit outside.
They said no problem but I have to say the service was really lacking I don't think the server wanted to be outside for any reason.
That being said the dinner was excellent the brie appetizer was delicious.
My friends ordered two different kinds of steaks --excellent-and I ordered one of
their signature dishes, the scallop dinner. It was delicious. I always order their fries on the side no
matter what I'm having because they are very good.
Overall very good- I never feel that they have a great waitstaff that quite
matches up to the food but I'll go along with it because I really love the food here.
Will return

"Overall food was delicious.
Read some previous reviews about problem wait times for service etc.
We dined on Saturday night 2 people -found the hostess to be friendly seated quickly with reservation.
Waiter friendly and quick to respond ...restaurant got very busy but service was very good.
I also love that they had not only a great wine selection but a great wine selection by the glass which is unusual.
Will return.
