In every city, there is a natural gathering spot for city folk and neighborhood people in the know. This place in Saint Paul is know as Bennett's Chop & Railhouse. Located on West Seventh & Victoria, it is the perfect meeting place of uptown and downtown, of quiet neighborhood and big city lights.

It's called a chophouse because it specializes in a casual steakhouse atmosphere with top-of-the-line cuts of the finest meats. It is a Rail-house because it is on the old railroad line serving the city and rail drinks (as well as top brands) are served in the convivial atmosphere of the horseshoe bar.

And of course Bennett's is Bennett's because owners Joe and Meghan Bennett ensure that welcoming hospitality is always served. They have taken their decades of experiences with leading hospitality brands and translated it into an intimate venue where you're not only a customer, but more importantly, a welcome guest.

"For an old traditional neighborhood bar, this place has GREAT food. Not your usual burger and a beer type of place. The sandwiches all have a unique sauce or interesting ingredient. Salads are wonderful. Try the truly home made chicken pot pie. Service is prompt and very friendly. One of our favorite spots."

A Minneapolis tradition was born on October 2, 1947, when the Oak Grill opened for business. Architect Bob Hansen used characteristics from the Jacobean period in the design of the rooms. The ornate fireplace, originally from Salisbury, England, was over 300 years old when it was transported in sections and reassembled in the Oak Grill. With its solid oak columns and vast frame, it soon became the room's focal point. Its distinctive appearance, along with dark paneling, red chairs and dim lighting, help give the Oak Grill its cozy ambiance.

Chez Daniel is a traditional French bistro offering authentic French food in an elegant but casual environment. Chez Daniel features an extensive wine list, foreign and domestics beers, and a variety of ports and cognacs. The moment you arrive you will feel transported to a small European village with gleaming Spanish tiled walkways, beautiful atrium featuring an Italian fountain and unique gargoyle lamp posts.
