Under the direction of renowned chef José Andrés, Zaytinya offers an innovative mezze menu inspired by Turkish, Greek and Lebanese cuisines served up in a sleek and modern setting. Shared small plates, creative cocktails and unique Mediterranean wines make this spot one of DC’s top dining destinations.

"My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary at Zaytinya, we had a scrumptious dinner and memorable dining experience thanks to Mr. Zaslavsky and Team. The servers are very knowledgeable and professional, very well trained staff - it shows! We highly recommend starting with the "Spice Road Gin & Tonic", the real licorice stick was a welcoming treat. Order some labneh to go with the delicious fresh baked pita. We really enjoyed the Turkish Style Pastirma rolled with radish, apricot, and arugula, the Mercimek Koftesi, Loukaniko, Lamb Bahar and the Adana Kabob. We can't wait to dine at Zaytinya again!"

From the team behind Ripple in Cleveland Park, we are thrilled to announce the launch of Roofers Union, a new restaurant now open in Adams Morgan. The menu at Roofers Union will showcase chef Marjorie Meek-Bradley's take on casual tavern fair inside a neighborhood restaurant and bar.

The bar program will focus on craft beers and cocktails as well as 10 to 12 wines by the glass on a moderately priced list from around the world.

A cozy and relaxed first level houses a cocktail-centric bar with 24 seats, while the main level features floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the restaurant with natural light and of Adams Morgan’s bustling 18th Street. The vibrant dining room will offer full service with a range of seating options including a revamped 20- seat bar, tables for large groups, and banquets.
"My husband and I dined at Roofers Union because we are a fan of ripple, but we were somewhat disappointed in the food and service at Roofers Union. The brisket was very dry, the chicken sausage was overly salty, and the pineapple upside down cake was too pedestrian, it needed something more. The highlights were the cipollini onion rings with BBQ sauce, the homemade potato chips, the cauliflower with mint and pine nuts, and the "Spring Fever" cocktail. The service was just ok, no happy faces, no personality, seemed like it was a task for them to take orders. I would have expected more."

"Graceful Rose has it all - a gorgeous view, comfortable dining room, excellent attentive service, and most importantly scrumptious food and a great wine list. My husband and I dined at Graceful Rose twice in the past two weeks and both times we were greatly impressed. They had a very diverse "Restaurant Week" menu. We really liked that we were offered the option to upgrade a few menu items for a minimal charge (which we both did). Everything was cooked to perfection and the presentation was photo worthy. We highly recommend Graceful Rose! A big thank you to the Chef and Staff for an outstanding dining experience! We will be back soon."

The 56-seat neighborhood spot is a modern interpretation of a public house, offering casual food, well-crafted cocktails and an extensive selection of intriguing and affordable wines. In the spirit of every great pub, guests are welcomed to drop in for anything from a drink and a quick bite on the way home after work, to joining with friends or family in sharing a meal.

Chef Wylie Dufresne, along with Executive Chef Jon Bignelli, apply innovative techniques in the kitchen at Alder, taking familiar dishes and flavor combinations and presenting them in their own unique style, celebrating New York City’s diverse food culture in the process. Dufresne and Bignelli find their inspiration in their metropolitan surroundings: New York is a city where we can source the best ingredients from around the world and turn them into something distinctly American.

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Alder. The food, cocktails and wine list are exceptional! Try the new spring cocktail - "The Fennel Countdown" or a glass of Grüner Veltliner. The Scotch Quail Eggs, Rye Pasta and Hanger Steak are a must try, you will not be disappointed. The service is excellent, very friendly and attentive. We really like the decor, great job on the interior design! Thank you to Chef Dufresne and Team for a wonderful evening!"
