A contemporary Northwest fish house with a modern accent.<pr>It has been said that "nature writes the menu" and this adage guides the approach of our culinary path from the seasons of fresh fish to the harvest of the produce. We are fortunate to be close to the ocean and walking distance to a premier farmer's market.

"We got a gift certificate and so we went. It was a surprisingly great experience. The food was wonderful and the service was top notch. We don't frequent classic steak or fish houses much any more but this was a reminder as to why it's a classic."

Our classic Xico Margarita with fresh squeezed lime is unmatched and is known for being the best in Portland, as reported by the Oregonian. <br /><br /> Xico boasts a wine list carefully selected to pair with the flavors on the menu: Rieslings from Alcase, Germany, Italy and Oregon. The sparkling minerality, terroir and fruit of Italian Lambruschi. And Reds that span the globe.

"The guacamole was a joke. It was expensive and was a very small portion almost a joke. Kinda of colored the experience unfortunately."

Le Pigeon serves adventurous French-inspired food, along with a varied selection of wines in an intimate dining room on Portland’s East Burnside Street. We take reservations at our communal tables, and offer our chef's counter for walk-ins.

"Food was great! The service was OK it took a long time to get our drink orders to us and get the meal started but once they did the food was great! Waitress wasn't overly helpful. They couldn't expand our reservation from 4 to 5 to accommodate a late joining guest."
