In May 2009, Chef George Mendes opened Aldea in Manhattan’s Flatiron neighborhood. Named after the Spanish word for village, the restaurant’s menu is inspired by the Iberian Peninsula and Mendes’ heritage. The chef adds a modern, seasonal approach to create a menu perfectly balanced between rusticity and refinement.

"Food very good, subtle, maybe a little expensive for what it is. But filet amazing. Swordfish too.
Servers seemed poorly trained--salad delivered to wrong party. Wrong dessert sent to Birthday girl.
Maybe because it was a holiday?

Robert is a modern American restaurant housed within the Museum of Arts and Design with an amazing view of Columbus Circle and Central Park. Enjoy dinner and a bottle of fine wine from our collection in our beautifully designed dining room. Have a seat in our lounge next to our baby grand piano and sip one of our cocktails.

An original pioneer of the casual upscale dining scene on the Upper West Side since 2003. Chef Craig Wallens’ contemporary farm-to-table Italian-American cuisine ‘explodes with flavor and freshness’. ‘Cesca features hand crafted pastas, wood-burning oven, artisanal cocktails and an Award Winning wine-list, all complementing this warm rustic environment<br />

Awadh, once a princely state, is among the most ancient of Hindu regions. The enchanting history of this land of the Nawabs, kings known for their refined and extravagant lifestyles, is recognized through the richness of its cuisine. Here at Awadh, we bring you these bold flavors that balance elements of spice, intensity and acidity. Awadh is Gaurav Anand’s latest endeavor, following Bhatti Indian Grill (Murray Hill) and Moti Mahal Delux (Upper East Side). With Awadh, we present a culmination of culinary finesse of the finest food from India’s sacred and historic land. We hope to create experiences and memories through flavors as you explore meats, vegetables, seafood, kebabs, curries and breads that will leave a lasting impression on your palate.

Taboon means "oven" in Arabic. Considered the heart of our restaurant, the wood fired Taboon oven delivers freshly prepared specialties that are exotic, healthful and full of flavor. Our trademark "Middle Terranean" cuisine blends the traditions of the Mediterranean with Middle Eastern cuisine using French techniques to create dishes that are uniquely delicious. Visit us at 773 10th Avenue, at the corner of 52nd Street, just steps away from the Theater District to find out what everyone's talking about. And ask us about our brand new PRE-THEATRE PRIX FIXE MENU! Reserve a table with us between 5pm and 6:30pm Monday through Friday and enjoy 3 courses accompanied by our famous fresh-baked-to-order foccacia for only $35 per person!

"Great upscale Indian food. Lovely, intimate ambiance. Try the chicken tikkah appetizer--luscious, most, saucy chicken--really fab.
Also the shrimp and the lemon rice. And don't forget the chickpeas.

A great meal is not just about the food and wine. A great meal is not just one that fills you up. A great meal opens up your senses and introduces you to new tastes. What we choose to do at Vai is take the simple act of eating, an ordinary activity, and make it extraordinary. Our staff will make your visit an amazing experience. Vai, which means "go" in Italian, is a beautiful space, warm atmosphere, filled with people who care. We will treat you as a guest in our home. Sit, relax, breathe...let us take care of you. Let us create a memory.
